Its true I see alot more P plater s2k's around nowadays..
Just did a quote for an 18 yr old who's parents just bought him an S2K and it was $46,000 for full comprehensive cover and I heard him sigh
His parents bought the car under the condition he paid the insurance, I laughed so hard.
Being a P Plater myself comprehensive cover for my EG is around $8k per year which is fooooked, so I mean alot of these p platers have s2k's but can't pay their insurance so they either dont insure them or ask mummy and daddy for insurance money too..
I wouldn't take third party property/theft/fire for an s2k, would have to be comprehensive but mreh, thats just me. No point buying a nice car if you can't handle the insurance repayments
