its not hard buddy, anywaiz to make sure you get a nice smooth even coat on your rocker cover always spray a single or two shot onto cardboard or grass as i do and that makes sure that the cans nozzle is clear and you can spray normaly, this reduces the chances of when you spray and then the nozzle clogs up and spits a shit load of blobs ruining that fine texture. patience is needed especially when you mask up the letters and cut them.
ok my mate said he will help me paint it hes good with this sort of stuff
:) shouldnt be to hard, as long as you get a spray can that works fine its a straight forward easy job, looks great to!
that came out queit good
btw what kind of sealant do you guys use to re seal the rocker cover? back ??
i got F22b1 sohc vtec accord .. im confuse what sealant should i use ???
rubber or the paste sealant?
thanks
Ok guys, I wanna give this a crack... but I dont know where to start to get the cover off!!! ( Non-VTEC from 95 civic ) Cheers
^^^^^^
then u probably shouldnt be giving it a crack :p
Yea...i agree with kazam. But if you wanna give it a crack then start by taking off the spark plug cable leads, then anything else thats connected to the rocket cover, and finally the screws. But you should try to remember where the screws came from too...you dont wanna be putting the screws in the wrong place. Hope that helps :)
i believe its 5 bolts for the rocker cover, 3 at the front (short) and 2 at the back (long)
I just started my valve cover on my B series engine, its currently on the BBQ for the paint can Wrinkle. Still have to sand it back and give it a few light coats. I will post my pictures when im done. :D
