The Epicenter adds extra signal processing to the low frequency bit of the source. Seen as the LC6 only gets the line out the Epicenter will seek out low frequency signals from the source and feed it through to the amp, kinda like a lowpass filter but with alittle intelligence.... in theory im not sure how great itll be but the reviews are promising. Im just not too keen on leaving the filtering to an Amp and the Stock HU has crap adjustibility compared to my last Pioneer headunit (Sub-control/phase/slope etc)

As for the front speakers they DONT have splits. The OS models have them, unfortunately the Local model here misses out. I upgraded my rear's to the Honda Bass Works and whilst its good compared to stock you cant beat having nice clean bass from a decent Sub.

Ive got a pair of Alpine DDLinear's ready to go in the front slots and im trying to figure out a better place than the back of the rear seats to put my 2x 2channel amps.

the car already has a spot for your splits...it's at the very front left and right corner of your dash board....if you can see there are already 2 grills there for splits...yep just get decent rear speakers, a sub and an amp and you're right to go. i didn't change my cd player because it's pretty good...i just used an amp to make it sound louder and better...i think that's all you need to do

The guy at JB said that it already had splits in them so i just took his word for it...nonetheless the front speakers are already pretty damn good...where else can you put the amps? let us know if you find a good place to hide them...

Accord Euro Luxury Wheels and Kumho 215/45/17 Ecsta 711 Tyres

Will be getting AEM CAI soon

Will be resetting factory springs to make them lower (possibly havent decided yet)

confirmed there are no tweeters inside the dashboard...

with the "flat type" dashboard.. will be good for the staging.. can't wait till I finish my final exam.. so I can spare some time to install the sound system..

so that cornerof dashboard will be the good placeto set up the split?

IMO, not the best spot.. but .. I don't see why not.. Honda made them for a reason..

yeah, i've installed my system using stock HU
they sounds alright, however still got distortion when the lights on.

for the staging it's really great. i've placed the tweeters on the windscreen.

my current system:
- stock HU with david navone line converter
- Seas lotus splits for the front stage
- tru tech amp for splits
- a/d/s sub 10"
- rockford 500s for the sub

anyone got the same problem as me?solution?

planning to change the splits, coz it doesn't really match my system.

change your ground cable location.. either on the HU, or the amps.. or get some grounding kit.. if none of 'em works.. get some descent HU.. lol..

nakamichi... yuuummm.....

ground cable location for the front amp it's preety hard to find,i'm using the seats as a ground.

i've sold my nakamichi dude. that's a shame

They told me that too. They're wrong.

There are definitely NO tweeters, and the stock speakers are some crap made in Thailand. That being said, for stock speakers in this price range, the speakers are pretty decent- it's only when you listen to premium speakers (or even half decent splits) that you'll notice the difference. I think as someone else pointed out, it's the bass which is really lacking in the car.

That spot doesn't fit every tweeter- mine melted last Friday and fell out (landing near my accelerator pedal!) so I had to get it plastic welded in. It's a good place if you want to keep your car looking stock, but I heard that if you put it on A pillars, it'll create a much better sound stage- but also attract alot more attention.

As for mods- I've ordered a few parts... grille, chrome light surrounds and visors. Shall post pics once installed.
