IF - inside facing (weight shifts off the IF wheel onto the OF wheel during cornering)
OF - outside facing
Alt - alternator
Batt - battery
CCA - cold cranking amps
AH - amp hours
LPG - Liquid petroleum gas
ATTS - Active Torque Transfer System (those prelude owners out there)
ALB - anti-lock braking (old skool)
ICE - in car entertainment, internal combustion engine
IT - ignition timing, information technolgy?
ARB - anti-roll bar
EMS - Engine management system
AFR - air fuel ratio
EFI - electronic fuel injection
OHC - over head cam (i know its kinda been done but WTH)
VVT - variable valve timing (aka vtec rip off)
FI - forced induction
NA - naturally aspirated
ATMO - see NA, atmospheric air pressure
BoooBAAAHH - typical vtec eninge sound crossing into much loved vtec rpm range
PGM-FI - Programmed Fuel Injection
Nm - newton meters
RCH - roll centre height
AD - anti dive, anti dominus (before AD was BC, no mot buddy club)
BC - Buddy club (lol made me think of another)
AS - anti squat
UHF - ultra high frequency
RON - Research Octane Number also know as octane rating/anti-knock rating (AKI), Road Octane Number (RdON), Motor Octane Number (MON) - fact ethanol's RON is 129 (MON 102, AKI 116)
WRC - world rally championship
NVH - Noise, Vibration and Harshness, as in poly bushes increase NVH
BNIB - brand new in box
NR - No reserve (as in ebay auctions having no minimum bid)

one major one that would help out the uber noobs would be including all the fd2, dc2 etc etc types so they can just look it up in this post if they have no clue.

Yeh, this is only for acronyms, not model codes :)
Perhaps it's own... but search first, as im not 100% sure if theres one out there already.
