I raced karts when i was 14 till i was 17 and did some testing in a formular Ford your body gets used to it but if you hav a pre existing injury and hav been out its hard to get back and in schumi s case its a serious injury and i dont think he would want to comeback unless he felt he could be competitive it would jst put a black mark on a otherwise steller career

How is this going to make the sport more interesting ? There are hardly any decent over taking in f1 these days, some circuits are so god damn boring... unless they have hugh long straights rarely do you see f1 overtake. At the moment it seems all the overtaking is done via pit stops, drivers needing to push that extra 20% before a pit stop etc etc. So by taking away pit stops, we're just gonna see the front runner literally driver away. Seriously who the funk is making up these new rules. Am I alone here?

I reckon Hamilton threw in the towel at the end there. He knew he wasn't going to catch 2nd place and prob had the shits cos he didn't win, he raced well but 3rd position wasn't good enough for him so he pushed a bit too far carelessly when he didn't need too.
yea no doubt, he was faster than button by something like 0.5-1 s per lap but was pushing way too hard, got caught on that astro-turf and accelerated and lost control into the barrier.
2 stop strategies = fail at monza because it is sucha high speed circuit, the time u spend entering and exiting the pit lane @ the speed limit the others have pretty much done 1/3 of the course.
