i was looking at a evo after the ep3 test drove 3 wasent my cup of tea there was no excitement in it then i test drove the sti omgeee awesomeee and the rumble is awesome
each to their own but remember most of the new sti's are audm anyway thats why i reckon
like i said as well the ep3 was good car to drive very nimble and good kick of vtec with some mods but yeah turbo is for me i suppose i like to DOS everyone :D
imo they probably forgot to order them, thats why they accidently sent it to the wrong autobahn... i mean how can they do that anyway??

Been doing a fair bit of researching and just wondering, for anyone that has lowered their car, have you changed tie rod ends to inverted tie rod ends ?? anyone have a roll centre adjustment aswell ?? im getting tein mono flexes and im worried about what happens when we lower our cars how the tie rods angle up. Anyone got a bit of knowledge they can try and drill into my head lol
yeah i researched that awhile back and alot of ppl reckon when u lower ur car u should get inverted tie ends cause it cause stress on the rack

hey guys i got a prob car wont start smoothly, ive changed the plugs which i thought was the problem which i guess i was wrong, power and everything seems to be sweet, alternator working cause bat still gets charged, what else could it be cause it takes it sweet ass time to start, maybe injectors not spraying enough petrol through??? cause it seems like the petrol aint coming thought but i could be wrong
Check your fuel filter and lines.
Make sure nothing it kinked.
Also check your coils are all connected properly.
What is the widest and lowest offset that can be used on an EP3. I have a set of 17 x 9" + 22 TE37's that I would like to try and fit. Am I wasting my time?

Im getting my car back next week, parts are arriving from UK mid next week and the panel beater will have the Bumper, radiator and aircon in by friday....Took long enough.
Anyway, im upgrading my sound system when i get my car back and installing these:

Now how did you guys connect your amps and what not to the ep3? Straight to the battery terminal or...? I have no knowledge of the power configurations of this car so some guidance would be good :) Also do you guys recommended using a farad capacitor to take the strain off the alternator a bit?
i connect my +ve straight off the battery (with a fuse close to the battery terminal) and -ve to the chassis at the boot.

Left hand side of the boot should've been a bag with a jack and the spoke to turn it with.

Hey guys sorry I know this has been mentioned before, but I don't wana search again cause it's a bitch! But.. What engine mounts is good for our cars? Somtying that bangs for bucks!
Do u want to keep factory level NVH? If so buy stock mounts.
Anything harder like inserts and solid mounts will increase NVH but give better performance.
I'm looking for more performance and the vibration is ok. How much performance difference do u get from solid mounts? Also how's the vibration for daily driving?
Forget solid mounts, don't want ur car to feel like a truck. I think you mean aftermarket mounts made with urethane?
Difference is not really there when driving on the street except for the vibrations. Will benefit if you do some form of racing in it....ie 400m or track.
For street, i would recommend that you just urethane them to keep some of its noise dampening properties.
Try and see if you can go for a ride with someone who has one cause the vibrations are 'noticeable', especially if you get set ie innovative/hasport.
Anyway, that's what I think ;)

Anyone knows how to take the black thing behind the rear number plate? My mates having problems taking hers off.
I did mine but it was like 18mths ago so I'm not 100% sure without seeing the thing.
From memory u need to twist the black plastic to an angle so it will clear the bolt (left one I think) and once that's cleared u can turn the black thingy to clear the other bolt. I dun think u can take those bolt out from the outside.
I pulled mine off lol just did it last week. Just need some strength.. It didn't break or anything.
hey guys, is it possible to adjust the front wiperblade arm so that it rotates more? My drivers side wiper arm seems to stop really far from the edge of the windscreen, so its kind of annoying.
