damn you guys my fuel light came on so i quickly went to fill up. 340km =( from normal/no vtec short drives. filled up 35Ls so im guessing theres still 10 in the reserve tank?
The fuel im using atthe moment is from caltex. I heard BP and shell is pretty good, i might switch over to them.

@twelve: hard to say. best way is to fill it to the rim and drive normally. try not to vtec to see whats the furthest u can get until the light comes on, give or take another few kms for the last few litres of fuel u have. afterwards, refill and vtec+ normal driving to see the difference. =)
Also, start stops in heavy traffic drains more fuel than driving long distance nonstop though of course depends on your throttle control~
420km on a full tank that included two 1/4 miles runs at the creek as well :)
