hey guys, Im looking to get an ipod/aux/bluetooth adapter for my 06 FD1.
I need to know something though, by any chance does our OEM head unit have a CD changer harness plug at the back of it?
I believe that the FD2 have CD stacker with their OEM head unit.
no lol, the cd stacker you speak of is inbuilt
yeah I know that but I saw a DIY that had a harness plug at the back of it. here's the pics (note: its the white plug).
The Adapter I'm planning to get requires this plug at the back of my OEM Head unit.
So yeah Im just wondering if out FD1 has it.

B5 = AUX GND (AUX detection wire for switched type female jack)
B13= AUX L (Left signal)

ghetto harness
Connect a jumper to pins B5 and B15. Connect wires to B3, B13 and B14, these wires leads to the auxillary jack.

Does anyone have a picture/ desciption of how to run their Amp power wire through their engine bay, I'm have a world of fun trying to get the power wire into the cabin from the engine bay.
I've looked through 8th Gen and here and haven't found muchos.
ej20i mentioned a hole, which I have found, above the clutch (my civic is manual) - but I'm wondering how the f to run the wire through the engine bay, and how to access that hole from the other side.
Any help / links would be appreciated.
Cheers
^ you run the cable inside the left fender (battery side) then look for the rubber grommet where the side indicator light harness goes inside the car, then punch a hole to run inside the car
