ive got a real carbon grille like that already - was tempted to wrap my spare stock grille with carbon wrap and then carbon wrap my hood... but ended up deciding i like wet carbon look better lol.
and wrapping a grille shud be fine buddy.
The 17x9 looks really realllly 'correct' on that car though...
Question - would anyone trade their 'jdm' front end for a USDM front end?

Has anyone here painted their FD front & rear brake calipers?
I've been reading the DIY's and also seen pics of Danny-Marts yellow calipers on his Silver FD (IMO yucky colour combination)...
But yeah... I'm thinking of painting both front and rear calipers on my NHB civic RED . Would like some pics/opinions before deciding to paint them or not. Cheers!
i reckon you should spray them AQUA
markcivicvti has painted his calipers red on his fd, up here in brisbane. painted the layers on with a brush.

BC (Bhor Chuan) coilovers better than teins super street or vice versa?
tein ss > bhor chuan
bc n+ > tein SS > bhor chuan =D
i disagree... the new bhor chuan is excellent....... tein SS u race, dont think will last as long as bhor chuan..... a know a few ppl race with bhor chuan for 2 years and still no problem.......
bhor chuan gold edition is excellent...... anytime i recommend to people
also... price ratio with quality??????????? bhor chuan is very very very good...... those who use will not regret........
i heard the same...bhor chuan excellent quality...where as buddy club N+ is poor quality...BC is bang for it's buck...
tein is best of both worlds? :o
tein ss will not last on track
of course... hence they are called super STREET not super track
I was just being an idiot before about the n+>tein>bc.
I think you will find "BC Racing" or "Bor Chuan Enterprises" is a manufacturer of coilovers.
And they produce a privately labeled coilovers for other companys. I wouldn't be supprised to find Buddyclub or T1R being made by Bor Chuan Enterprises.. So to say that Buddyclub products are shit, is pretty silly as the coilover that you are looking at most probably comes out of the same factory, just with a different label.
D2 are another manufacturer of coilovers and they produce such coilovers as ksport etc..
Market penetration and flooding the market with your products under different names works.
u r rite.... from what i know borr chuan does manufacture some other japanese well known brand coilovers....
my mate uses BC Gold on his ek and another on WRX
and they are both very happy with em, TBH, they are not so bad as what people say
i am not promoting for borr chuan as i certainly do not have anything to gain from that.... i have used a couple of their coilovers.... the old one compared with the current gold one..... the gold one is much better..... i have used tein, hks, apex'i, koni.... borr chuan gold for fd is so far the best one...... of cos this is for my personal like and feeling..........
you went through 4 sets of coils :|
sounds like me with my ek. haha
bhor chuan makes it for greddy if that helps...so they're not making it poorly.
join the club.
i want an eg :(
Buy mine?
how do people cope with 2 cars?
...haha i can imagine the complication in the mornings..
"which car to drive today"
one weekend car, one shitbox for DD
hey guys just wana get some opnion from you guys. i see stigs fd is full baller style but just wondering hows the turning circle and would it scrub when on full lock turning? having said that even if u get a front and rear camber kit to clear the guards it does stop it from scrubbing when u have passengers and hitting bumps on the road. I was looking at a new set of rims from jdm concept. Just wondeering would 17x7 be too small? need to know more about the camber kits, coil overs, tyre sizes and rim sizes with different offsets.. educate me guys lol... atm just running on 17x7 looks heaspz small and still stock height with a mugen lip kit.
If you think 17x7 is too small, you need to talk to ekdez and stig as they are the baller ones LOL.
Although 17x7 is perfect for me =]
stig is running on air suspension. so even if he does scrub when his car is moderately low, he can always raise his car in just seconds :p
http://i67.servimg.com/u/f67/14/87/50/33/img_2812.jpg
17 x 9!
the offset just makes it look awesome. concave rims = win
question: if i were to throw some 17x8 and 17x8.5 +35 wheels, what size tyres would be recommended for minimal scrubbing? 215s?
