Just Saw an ep3 on Camden valley way any1 here?
I don't know if I'm free on Saturday but Sunday I am. Saturday I might be free from afternoon. If not then I'll come for dinner.
Hey philz,
Like i was talking to you b4 when u were down in sydney im also after the brackets and all i can find on the net is the one for the rsx. I read alot about the inverted and even though it seems no one in australia has had any problems im still paranoid about putting my set on. Ahhhh, everytime i look at the angles of my tie rods it makes me scared, i gotta do something >_< i did read about people putting mods on their inverted tie rod ends to stop dust and dirt getting into the ball joint. That might help abit
I got the bracket delivered just yesterday so when I find time to put it in, I'll let you guys know how it is. its not exactly cheap and installation may not be exactly easy, either. I'm going to be ordering new washers and o-rings for it too, possibly new OEM tie rod ends too.
BTW, bump steer is not when the steering wheel moves as a result of hitting bumps on the road. Bump steer is when the suspension compresses/rebounds and any change in toe that occurs as a result, so much so that the cars trajectory is altered. (Thats the gist of it, from what I gathered)
Hope that helps!
It does have a silencer, at idle its pretty quiet as I can sneak home late at night without waking the neighbours, but from a cold start, the first few mins as the engine is warming up is too loud for the mornings.
Will I most likely experience the same problem from a Fujitsubo, I've never heard it from a cold start before?
the rm01a is quiet as.. sounds pretty stock until WOT
thanks mate. please keep us posted.
if u don't mind, how much did the bracket cost shipped? did u buy from 0857 off clubRSX? also please let us know what washers and o-rings u got. very much appreciated.
yeah i'm aware what constitute bump steer. at the moment, the handling seems predictable so i'm not too concern but i know my alignment isn't ideal as i did a temp one after installing coilovers and waiting for the springs to settle.
cheers
thanks to this thread, i know exactly what phillip lee and supersteve are talking about.. wow ive come such a long way LOL THANKS GOYS :) <3 LOL
all the same bro, hasport, innoavative, avid u name it all the same, they use either 60A 70A or 80A bushings the lower the softer they are so for street 60A would be best, 80A if ur goin high HP and track racing etc while mugens feel like stock just stronger so they wont leak and crack
take a ride in another ep3 members car with 60a mounts and u will see
hey Mugen, fancy a meet on Monday night? i'll be going to meet on the southside (other forum). u wanna come?
where is it at phil?
^ PM sent.
cheers phil
urgent question because the guy who's giving them to me needs to know asap! lol
the coilovers im getting are purple and yellow, the brand says 'augosto' or some crap and the front ones dont look damper adjustable but the rear ones have wierd damper adjuster thingos lol what brand are they? and more importantly..
GO OR NO GO?
The Aragosta company was founded thirty years ago in the Netherlands. Following a series of setbacks, it was taken over by the Belgian company Suspension Technics which continues to produce shock absorbers today.
Originally, most of the production was for motocross and GP racing bikes, two disciplines in which we became world leader.
Building upon this success, we subsequently expanded our product range. Today, all types of vehicle can be fitted with our shock absorbers. We are present at National and Worlds Rally championships, in Autocross, Kartcross and Touring car events. We even set records in the Paris-Dakar Rally, in both the T1 and T2 categories.

Nice to see more chicks in EP3's. :)
Steve, all this name calling of you being a hoon, I don't think you're a hoon, you don't seem to be the type... :)
Perry, I think one or more of the traders here sell the visors.
Phil, how long does it take to drive up to Brissy from Sydney?...11hrs you reckon?
Hey guys,
another Coffee Meet to be up soon for this Sunday 24th January.
But thought I'd throw the option of another potential place to consider for coffee. That is, Parramatta Park?
Reason: Seeing some of the other EP3 owners are out west, thought this idea of another venue might also suit as it may be closer.
I personally am happy either way. :)
Anyway, majority will rule, so please indicate which you guys prefer.
1. Homebush
OR
2. Parramatta Park
i drove alone last time and did 4 stops in total (1 x lunch, 1 x refuel, 2 x toilet break/rest). i left from Bondi at around 7:30am and arrived home (Brisbane southside) around 6pm. i reckon 11.5 hours (factor in day light saving time).
u coming up in your EP3?
i can make it this sunday :), I vote for Homebush, easy parking~
oh and that was in my ep3 last yr
I just did the drive with 2 breaks. Around 10.5 hrs..........literally stuck to the speed limit :)
Road work (for approx 100km) just out of Newcastle was a pain tho :(
Homebush is good for me :) I'll do the shopping tomorrow!
I think I'll come Sunday morning :) Homebush or Parramatta is fine with me.
can't make it on sunday, im going to jamberoowoohoo, apparently i can control the action there.
but yeah.. sooo i woke up this morning with a 5Zigen exhaust, an intake and a carbing strut.. christmas came a bit too late :P
I am considering it as one of the destinations to do this year...hehe..thanks.
Still deciding when exactly...lol
I see, thanks Mugen*B, I am thinking going to Brissy and GC. I would imagine GC is 1 hour less than Brissy?
Oh!...so that was where you were! :p
You coming Perry?
You Sydney people...meet set! :D

Go to sleep Steve, no wonder you're never on time :p
hey guys can someone please tell me the wiper width (in inches) for our windscreen?
looking to get some bladeless wipers here...they so cheap...
Dunno in inches but the driver side is 600mm and passanger side is 370mm max.
