saw a city today at warringah mall, it was a honda promotional stand, had it next to the new accord and a jazz. looked pretty nice. nothing negative about it really, should be a great "city" car, as teh name suggest, does what it says on the box
Oh do we? Thanks for pointing that out. That statement is as shortsighted as saying: "You want a Japanese built car? Go to Japan".

While understanding that NZ import laws are lax in comparison to ours, I was told that you could import models directly through dealerships if you didn't find what you wanted at the locally sourced yards.
It pictures the rear seat reclining, though states in an overseas model shown. I know they 60/40 split, but do they recline?
The "statement" to which you refer is probably more insightful than you could imagine.
I doubt that NZ import laws are lax but rather specifically designed to realistically cater for the tiny car market over there. Ours is not that much bigger by world standards. We get what we get.
I said they're lax by our standards. Our import laws are strict.
Could you expand on his insightful statement?
These laws are there to protect our own local car industry I am lead to believe. Make sure we sell enough Fords and Holdens so that the aussies are employed. Sounds cynical but correct me if I'm wrong.
But that's my opinion based on what others have said, would love to hear it from someone from the industry.
