does the jetta come with leather/sunroof standard? i don't believe it does...
it does have an impressive feature set, however the drop in power plus the extra weight may make it sluggish. tho 0-100 specs are stated at 9.2 which isn't too bad. if thats the case, the civic must be under 9?

The dealership in Prahran (VIC) quoted $26160 driveaway with nothing!!! :eek: Glad I'm not getting one from there - though I'm interested in the Sports auto (so my gf can drive it too) which awas offered at $35185... has any one in VIC got offered a better price? I think the reason why they only quoted the auto is because motor and wheels mag are biased against Jap cars, and want to bag them when they can.... :mad: Saying that the MT sport would hoon is too much of a dent for their "pride".Quote:

As for the Sports Auto vs. VTi Manual- yeh I heard that the Sports Auto takes 9.9seconds, whereas VTi Manual only takes 9.7...
i can vouch for the test they did as i drove both 2.0l sport & the 1.8 vti manual & could not tell the difference in pick-up. manual will always have better response over auto.
try telling this to a gf that refuses to learn stick! :(Quote:

Hey does anyone have any complaints about the front seats? the leather is abit hard and the back support isn't the best either.......I don't think it's a good seat of long drives. I guess it might soften up later on.
