that was a good race. nice safety car with 10 laps to go aswell. go vettel and button. was rooting for them to do good this season before it started ! WOOOO yeah.
Kubica looked menacing right there at the end! Can't believe how lucky Button gets sometimes, that Raikonnen and Heidfeld would exit the pits exactly behind him dropping Kubica... 1pt is better than 0pts for sure!! Interlagos is going to be the decider now... cant wait! lol

epic race, shit going on everywhere. Hamilton and Button fkn OWNED. HAM started 17th on the grid to finish 3rd. Button and Vettel done similar they started from 14 and 15 respectively and finished 5th and 4th respectively.
good to see Webber win his second race of the year, barichello was unlucky with the puncture.

Congrats to Button, after so many years he has finally achieved his championship. And looks like Webber's bad luck is being washed away.
I was a member of the Jordan Fan Club for a few years, because they used Honda engines, and I really liked Eddie Jordan and his team too. Then I followed Honda on their return to F1, and this year I followed Brawn.
F1 is my favourite form of motorsport, and I've been going to the Aust F1GP since '98. Great to see Button & Brawn win the F1 Titles, but I was kinda hoping that Barrichello would win at Brazil.
MW was interviewed on the Nova Radio Station (Melb) this morning and sounded uninterested (must have been early in the morning in UK, or wherever he was talking from). I reckon he has set himself up nicely for a very good shot at the title next year. Hardly any FIA changes for 2010 as far as car technology requirements are concerned, so Webber's Red Bull racer should be very competitive again.
Anyhow, looking forward to Abu Dhabi, and the F1 season 2010. Got Aust F1GP 2010 tickets & accommodation already paid for :D

they should bring in more tyre providers but... if there is one tyre provider theres more room for price fixing because theres no other tyre provider to pitch a cheaper price for all the up and coming teams... F1 politics f**king suck anyway... it was all the FIA's lame effort on policy to try and standardize the racing in the end they have probably made tyres more expensive...
tyres ain't that expensive anyway... its all the engines and management and all that which cost the money in F1... but the FIA is trying to say that "every penny counts" highly unlikely seeming as most teams struggle to spend under 150 million... i got a mad proposal for the FIA if your too cheap ass to compete in F1... dont!

^^ The right car at the right time with the right team and people plays a huge part but its the driver who brings it home, the double diffuser situation in the beginning that the brawns, williams and Force India had wasnt the sole areo part that was giving them the edge over the others, because it all went to court and the FIA approved that it wasnt the sole part giving them an advantage so you can rule that out.

Micheal Shumacher went to ferrari when they were in bad shape and look at what he did im not sayin jenson is as gud a shumi but i agree with STAiN MASTER the team and ppl around a driver can be the diffrence btween 1st and 2nd
look, no doubt button is an elite driver to be in f1, but of the elite drivers i don't rate him that high.
Was he really consistent?
He won the first 6 of 7 i think, but after the field caught up he was just another driver, the main competition in the second half of the season were HAM, VET, WEB, BAR and that was about it, He really PWNT the beginning because of the fact that BRAWN were most prepared for the 2009 f1 season (seeing as honda started building their 2009 chassis pre 08.) and the rear double diffuser also played a big part of his early success.
After the field caught up to BRAWN (i.e. after 8th race, more so after mid season break) button was relatively inconsistent seeing as all of the names mentioned above placed higher than him, if it wasn't for his first 7 races button would have finished 8th behind rossberg, so how is that consistent?
I think it was a bad move Button moving to Maclaren, hes probably going to end up being second fiddle with Hamilton, just like how Barra was with schumi. Was also sad to see Toyota go, I think koboyashi had a lot of potential in him, I think both races he was in he was in the points and also bettering his team mate. Hopefully he gets a drive with another team.

JB moving to McLaren is probably the worst move in his career... if he isn't so money motivated he can probably do a ripper job with brawn next year as well... however he might have to yield to Hamilton because of the fact that every tom dick and harry views Hamilton as the more capable driver... his f**ked his career and name over a few more extra bucks in my opinion...
another question as well... is Ross Brawn still going to be in charge of Mercedes F1 because that team would be quite literally s**t without him???

bs alonso was told to let HAM win... there were 2 occasions when HAM was told by Mclaren not to push because ALO was coming first.
Alonso never yielded for Hamilton, dude do you think he would even if he was told to? he is fkn stubborn and him being 2 time world champion prior to coming made him number 1 driver (i.e. preference). Hamilton had to work for his victories. in the end he had the most points and alonso the nub face went to renault and proved wat a dud he is.
