How long is the wait for sports compare to vti/vti-L?
Picked up my my Sport Manual this afternoon....amazing car....I loved..except there is a little bubble on tint at the back...the dealer said it's ok just tell them to fix it at first 1000k services..cos it lifetime...guarantee..
Also the dealer show me that Vti auto.....waiting list goes all the way to Nov...so was Sport Auto....
and the dealer told me that they don't make anymore slivermoss... after Nov this year...
so u mean silver moss will be unique color for new civic or just for sport one?
buggA!. shudda ordered silver moss insteed~
Nah Black is sExY

Black was my seconds options....I like it ...but i heard it gets dirty and I am afraid..it will absorb heat..Then he show me the Slivermoss....like the carbon..fiber...color......I change my mind straight away...Quote:

i was also told today that if u want one, order now because the next shipment after that november one...there'll be a price rise :)
so much for thinking about how to bargain a discount
ya, my dealer told me silvermoss seems be the most popular than others. and i know black is hard to maintain, seems u need to wash up at least 2 week pre time to keep it look great, but I still after this color due to i never get car in blk before, but anyway, whatever the color is, new civic's feature is the point let me make deposit on it~Quote:

jdm concept is selling the mugen kit in the traders forum for about $2500 painted i think (no spoiler/grill)
i might get a factory kit....looks very similar i think although mugen will always be mugen...and that's the attraction hehe
if it was me i would get the non painted and get someone to paint it here... will end up costing more but i think it will turn out better in the end

hi guys i have an 8th gen vti manual coming in mid october in graphite i cant wait!
one question, has anyone purchased the OEM rim set from honda? as much as i love the car i didnt really think the hubcaps did it justice and i was wondering what kind of price range im looking at for them?
Give me five, u are another one same as me have to wait untill Oct to get the Vti manual. Hoping the dealer not kidding me as i can get it in Oct. For ur question, why not find aftermarket one, cheaper and more choice, I will get aftermarket one after i get my car, and never think about the OEM one. btw, one of ppl here got his sport one would like to sell his original rim, forgot who is, u can find out and contact this ppl, cheersQuote:

well what i wanna know is if the tomtom one alternative mount fits on the civic air vent. ( vent mount)
I had no idea the Civic Sport was so expensive. I mean if anyone seriously pays over $30k on road (someone paid $36K? wtf) for one of these without extensively test driving the base Euro they are making a mistake. I am not for a minute saying the Sport is not a good car - but it is expensive.
Hi Guys
Just want to know if any one knows if the "States" SI Coupe is using the same base as our civic.
Cause im having the problem of body roll in the car on the old Pacific Hwy, and there are coil overs for the SI but not our civic. Just want to know if its the same.
There is a cold air intake which is available for the SI anyone knows if it will fit the civic sport??
Anyone know where i can get any performance parts???
Ive only just changed the rims on the car at the moment.
i use a navman one in mine, but that mounts to the windscreen using a suction cup. ones that clip onto air vents should work fine though...Quote:

Which is exactly the reason I bought the Euro Sport. It has a nice exterior, has a bit of leather (no sunroof - bummer... what WERE honda thinking apart from stealing luxury sales or mp3's), tiptronic is fun and shifts just as fast as the paddle shift, and it has curtain airbags + fogs.Quote:

yeah, the euro sport should be a nice one. the good thing about a euro is that since it isn't a brand spanking new model, you can get pretty hefty discounts on em - something the dealers are still hesitant to do for the new civics.Quote:

hi hi where you all from? I'm from a Honda dealer in W.A, seems like the civic stock is the same all over OZ? We be getting a Type-R hatch 3 door JAN 2007 and silvermoss is change to a darker grey. =)
Hi GD3-TypeR,
Any idea on the price of this Type R hatch 3 door & 5 door ?
Oh! wow.! civic R comming out~ if only i had more money i would cancel this n wait for the R. but since i'm not rich. i stick with sexy n sport it up myself. no rice~
!!! lols damn maybe i should cancel my order on the vti and get the type r :D
i highly doubt the civic type r will come out here
Hey, im new and I will be ordering the new Civic VTi - L in black. Just want to know how everyone else went on prices and waiting times.
Thanks.
hi agp84, i paid 23500$ which was for my 05 last year and through new for old insurance im getting a vti for the same price, as far as waiting 5 months for me and only 1.5 left to go :)
This is the price I was quoted today:
'06 Honda Civic VTI Auto Black
15" Alloy Wheels
Rear Parking Sensors
Floor Mats
Door Step Protector
Mudspats F+R
incl. Dealer Delivery, Rego, Stamp Duty and Full Tank of Petrol.
$27,000
Thanks rhk. I should be ordering mine tomorrow. But ive been told it could be up to a 4 month wait! Anyone else waited 4 months?
And Chaz you got some good extra's thrown in for that price!!
Im trying to get fog lights, floor mats and the exhaust tips thrown in on the VTi - L. Is that a possibility?
The Type R is on Australia's list to bring in...if its "feasible", theres been a lot of reports on this lately...just have to wait and see...
and it wont be cause of the exchange rate of the pound!... civic type r is made in england.
Well I read in an article that Honda Australia is seeing whether it can be built in Thailand. They are certainly keen for that Civic to come here.Quote:

Also they suprise the news about silver moss will limilted at the end of this year from my email, they said they just got this info few days ago, and they just stop further order on this colour, but not sure what new colour will come to instead it. To this point, i am proud to keep update my info from this site~
