Nice rims ekdez.
I don't have any good pics yet, but car can go low. Will post some pics when I got time.
Ride quality is excellent in my opinion, feels like a different car. Excellent value for money is all I can say, top quality coilover. No problems so far. Highly recommended for someone who is after a fully adjustable coilover setup, without needing to spend huge amounts of money.
My friend who tested as driver & passenger said ride quality is comparable to his DC5R with Tein Flex coilovers.
Spring rate is 6kg Front, 6kg Rear
Softest setting is slightly harder than stock, more firm. However still had too much body roll for my liking. Tested with a few different settings, since lowering car, it tended to bounce a bit through deep pot holes/rough roads.
The best for me so far is setting front damper to 17 & 18 clicks for the rear (for track, this can be set much higher without issues). Increasing the damper to this setting seems to provide the best 'in-between' for street, not soft & not too hard. Any higher, car would feel too hard/harsh for Perth streets. The roads here are not all smooth, some a very rough, old, uneven. Each person may have their own individual taste, but I like my car to be stiff for a more controlled & firmer ride. Due to the higher damper settings, I also adjusted the tyre pressures to accommodate, 38psi front & 36psi.
After wheel alignment got camber dialed in at: -1 front & approx -2.2 for rear, +0.8 toe in the rear, the car grips through the corners. You can even say car feels like it's on rails.
Body roll has reduced immensely, however I also got a Ultra Racing 19mm rear ARB & TC Sportline Front Strut Bar installed which also improve handling. Even for a stock car, just coilovers will make a great improvement in handling.
Overall, this is a quality product & worth the money. Not many other coilovers can provide as much functionality for this price.
so want to buy these now. I have a set a set of pedders springs on and I'm not satified with handling yet, great write up mate, you have me convinced!
