Civic 06 prices .. anyone already put a deposit or buy one?

Anyone hear about the Civic recall? Only affects Hybrid and Sport models. Something to do with the ECU screwing with the electric steering.

Oh well, at least it's not a fire hazard like the new Commodore! One billion dollars and they can't even stop a hose from leaking lol.

i'm hunting a for my first Honda and i'm hoping to put a deposit on it on Saturday. I got a quote for $27 800 for the Civic VTi Auto. The quote includes the Euro 16" alloy wheels, car mats plus in the Misty Violet. Does that deal sound good?

Edit: plus it's coming in december!

sounds about right...but im pretty sure you could get it for less...doesn't sound like you got much of a discount...try to bring them down a bit more!!

sounds abt right i guess..but well theres always possibilities to push the price further..make sure u ask abt the alarm system..does not come standard in the vti models.

So the 16inch euro wheels will fit the 06 civic? can u please confirmed that?

Hi there,

I got the VT-i civic with car mats, 15" alloys and spoiler for $26,150 and that was in July. You should be able to push harder than $27,800. Tell them to do better and try another dealer too.

i thought that the VTi comes with standard alarm system? but i'll double check that.. i'll also make sure that the euro 16" wheels will fit!

i've gone to all 3 dealers in local Perth and the prices they gave me were around the $27.5k mark.
