Funny how its a 40k major and all that is listed in replace engine oil and filter...not even a spark plug replacememt!!
altough i'm happy they'll be checking the 650 double pumper holley i installed..under "Check Carburettor/ Throttle Body and intake air hose Condition"
if it says 'Replace Spark plugs (Only Platinum/Iridium if due)' and i bring my own, does this mean they have to replace them as part of the major service? or will they charge extra. Dont want to get ripped.Quote:

cool im fine with that. My current spark plugs are aftermarket since 5,000km service. Last time they charged me $80 to change them. My concern is that list above is not for the Civic FD2 but taken from external party. I guess ill ask before booking my serviceQuote:

update regarding 40,000km major service
- Spark plugs replacement NOT carried out in this service. It occurs at 60,000km service. Great news that they will change to my aftermarket ones for FREE!
- Fuel Filter not included. Extra $40
In total they are charging me $420. I am bringing my own engine oil.
Fuel filter for $40? Thats like overkill man..... $420 sounds too costly for a serivce imo. Are you getting it done at a mechanic or honda?
