stig is never wrong
that seems very weak if its a x7.5
especially with the R's wider body up front too
Yeah I was gonna say +60 but +50 is enough to scare you.. The reason the offset is high is because of the bbk set up they run. Need to sink the wheels in as much as possible.
wheels sink in more for a bbk o.0?
yeah that doesnt make sense to me. if anything, they should be at a lower offset to clear the brakes.. like evos
just wanna ask,
is that the lower offset, better performance?
not necessary, the lower the offset means the further the wheel sits from the hub
simple terms, the lower the offset the more the wheel sticks out from the guard
Lower the offset, the wider the track of the wheels, and logically the better the car handles around corners.
Conversely, the more positive the track, the more narrow the track, and the car won't handle as well through the twisties.
For handling, just get wider instead of worrying too much about offset. Wider wheels = better traction, however, will be heavier.
just repeating what most people have said..
for performance, all u really need is enough offset to clear ur brake calipers and to make sure that the do not touch suspension components. however, the amount of offset needed to do that will vary on the car and how wide the wheel is.
the reason why many people love the low offset is because it brings the wheels further out from the body of the car and makes them sit flush... or hellaflush y0~!
Nvm lol
