There is a eps specific fuse in the engine bay I believe. Have a look! eps light on dash is sent by the ecu (therefore is working, however you can discount mecanical things such as ill fitted plugs, do they fit only one way? and fuses!Quote:

problem fixed! got my eps back :D no more fighting heavy torque steer. the civic si manual pdf came in useful had instructions to reset the eps ecu by grounding cable and diagnostics reader.e
should leave eps off for more street cred like the NSX-R (no p/s) LOL
too much street cred over the weekend, think i need less of it.
My gf's Suzuki Swift has no power steering. Trying to park that thing is a massive workout. No need for gym membership, just take power-steering out of your car.
i was surprised to actually park without it but was crooked, its just a mission to drive without power steering.
EPS isnt constant like hydraulic power steering - some may notice torque steer at times and sometimes over powering on the steering !
is it just our cars with the eps? or does the dc5 have it too?
