ou can have Brembo quality in original equipment replacement brake rotors that are fully compatible with your vehicle's original brake system. And as you would expect, Brembo Brake Rotors are designed to equal or exceed the performance of the original equipment rotors that came on your vehicle. For that matter, in order to provide higher levels of performance and comfort, Brembo even developed one-piece cast brake rotors to replace original equipment two-piece brake rotors that feature economically stamped steel centers fastened to the braking surfaces.
Starting with a casting from a Brembo foundry that assures uniform thickness, Brembo Brake Rotors are machined to exacting tolerances (the rotor run-out tolerance is only 0.0025%, about half of the industry norm), feature a braking surface finish (ground or fine turned) compatible with the vehicle's OE specifications and are electronically balanced to minimize the possibility of vibration.
Brembo offers its brake rotors with the same levels of quality, technology and performance that have earned it Dodge Viper, Ferrari, Ford Mustang Cobra and Mercedes-Benz OEM fitments. All Brembo OE Replacement Rotors are manufactured under QS-9000 and ISO 9001 certifications to ensure the highest level of quality. Brembo brake rotors offer applications for most every automobile & domestic to import, compact car to luxury SUV.
NOTE: Brembo Rotors should always be installed in axle pairs to maintain the most effective brake performance.
Together with its unique know-how in the manufacturing of braking systems for high performance vehicles, Brembo is able to guarantee top quality standards and the most advanced technological knowledge, making it a world market leader in its sector. Brembo brake rotors are the natural choice for use in the most sophisticated sports vehicles and high-class saloon cars. Its skill ensures an unsurpassable performance level in the best cars produced in Europe, the USA and Japan today.
The electronic balancing system allows to eliminate any possible difference in the weight split of vented discs, avoiding vibration risks.
The perfectly uniform thickness of the braking surfaces ensures top performance, maximum comfort and much higher durability of the components.
The precise finish of the braking surface, ground or fine turned depending on OE specifications, ensures improved pad-discs fit and better running-in.
The extremely precise tolerance guarantees correct run-out values and the elimination of several types of disc vibrations.
Features:
• Maximum safety in time:
Careful design, based on advanced calculation systems, controls the heat transmission from the braking surface to the hat section.
• Advanced solutions:
the use of specific cast irons, coming from the integration of foundries in the production process, allows for exclusive technical and planning know-how.
• High comfort and longer durability:
Exact tolerances guarantee maximum performance of braking system components.
• Better synergy between the friction material and disc:
Careful finishing guarantees a turned or ground braking surface as for Original Equipment specifications.
• Reduction of vibration risks:
An electronic balancing system is used during the production process to eliminate possible unbalanced weight distribution of ventilated discs.
<< didnt know that FD2 has bigger front rotors...
why do i have a feeling that our fd1 has 282mm rotors..
pretty sure it should just exceed, not equalQuote:
Brembo Brake Rotors are designed to equal or exceed the performance of the original equipment rotors that came on your vehicle

and my problem...
FML!!
http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n.../myproblem.jpg
i think i might have to cut away the plastic covering the fuel line?
but what about the other side :(... i dunno what might hit on that side...
maybe i should run the 9.5 at the front :O
Nice rims
wow that last shot was a bit distressing, dez. what's the offset on ur t1s btw?
mm well my friend suggested..
maybe i should, take the fuel plastic cover off and then use that heat wrap stuff.. that people wrap headers with to cover my fuel lines...
they are 19x8.5 +25 and 19x9.5+30 for the T1S
as a wise man once said.. " with a will there is a way " and i say, " ill make it fit! " haha
u r NUTS!
hmm... yea... LOL
Hey dez, it's a bit strange for offset +30 on your 9.5 will hit the plastic. My iForged was +35 and when i sold it a guy who drives FD1 it never had any problems hitting the inside. You should have gone with offset 0 :p
ok well i was just thinking.. maybe it has something to do with my camber kit?
plus i did those calculations.. using that website.
going from x9 +35 to a x9.5 +30
Inner Clearance: 1mm LESS <- so maybe my LM's were touching the plastic as well.. but because my camber kit as a certain degree of camber, this makes the wheel travel parallel to the plasitc covering my fuel line..? mad theory there :D
Outer Position: EXTEND an extra 11mm <- to be flush :P
have u tried this website? It may help u visualise :S
http://www.willtheyfit.com/
Thats mad offset & width for FD.. gotta stretch the tyres, 215 front 225 rear maybe or even 205 font 215 rear and roll guards to the max lol
I like poke, really wanna see how it will look like :)
thanks denny!
and curtis
http://www.willtheyfit.com/wheelimag....65&aspect2=35
Old New
Diameter 629.2mm 640.1mm
Circumference 1976.7mm 2010.9mm
Poke 79.3mm 90.7mm
Inset 149.3mm 150.7mm
so it should fit LOL..
i just left mine and let it scrub away
mine scrubed away by it was still rubbing somehow. so i cut a big hole in that ****er. lol
Been out here for a while now but thinking of getting new rims. Anyone here seen an FD with 17" Enkei RPF1. Want to see one fitted first but Im leaning towards it as its always been my got to have mods.
