I think I'm going to buy these:

and change them myself.
The 06 Civic (4dr sedan) is currently using stock wheels 15" and stock tyres..
Will I need to be aware of anything if I'm changing them myself?
This will be my DIY (never changed wheels myself before).
Are there anything else I need to be aware of (e.g. measurements etc).
The HFP wheels I'm buying doesn't come with Honda hub caps.. will I need these too?

u might need the caps as if u dont have em, the centre hub wil rust (not that it matters) looks better iMHO with the caps

they look a little like the JDM FD2R rims, just in a different color
a lot of the 8th gen usdm civics have them. pretty nice!
it should just be a simple swap, without any hassles. if u've never swapped a tyre before, then just ask a friend or family member.
what are the specs btw? width and offset?
i think u may be able to pick up some caps to fit on them from ebay, but u dont 'need' them to function properly. also u'll need to get a wheel alignment after u change from ur stockies.
finally, u need to take some pictures and post them up on here :p

edit: nobody's tried it yet, so we dont know how it'll go for fitment and clearance
Just found out my tyres are only 195/65 R15 91H.
These 17" wheels might be a tight fit for my tyres. I think I will need to upgrade my tyres. Does anyone have tyre recommendations (size?).
I'll need tyres that will at least make these rims look good as well as ride well : P

hey dude have you taken off your wheels b4?
make sure you find the points for jacking the car up first :D i stuffed up my old :honda: civic when i jacked up the car on the wrong spot :D but anyway.
second thing to remember handle your new wheels carefully or you will scratch them b4 they are on, always face the front of them up, not down on the floor :D
loosen the nuts first b4 you jack the car up or else you will be just spinning em around in circles :D
after jacking the car up unscrew the rest of the nuts you have just loosen. take the old wheel out and put the new ones in.
Tighten em up 3/4 way (important not to tighten the nuts one by one or else the wheels might be uneven, work corner by corner would be best) once all nuts are on make sure the wheel is fully pushed in and continue to tighten, when the nuts are tight enough the wheel will spin around.
Low down the car and tighten the nuts more (remember to bend your keens)
then loosen them just a notch, then your first wheel is done.
