so atm i got the stock gearbox and wen im on the highway i sit at like 3.25-3.5k rpm at 100km/h. Wut gear box shud i put in to stop this coz the drone gets a lil annoying afta its been going for like half an hr and plus im wasting fuel.

Which gearbox do you have? Automatic or Manual? which gears you are driving at?
Mine run around 3k rpm at 100km/h , gearbox is s20-B000.
Usefull link Honda transmission calc
You could get a gearbox with longer gear ratios, like from the B18B2 or B18C2, but the car won't accelerate as fast. Most people in your situation would rather get gearboxes that rev higher and accelerate faster.
If you decide to do this (I suggest you don't btw...) make sure you don't do something silly like a straight swap with your gearbox for somebody else's gearbox. Your gearbox is worth more than a gearbox which is rev lower at 100km/hour.
keep your gearbox and get a quieter exhaust lol
Theres a good reason why the GB was design with short gear ratio.....
Longer Ratios on a B16 is a bad idea, its not particular powerful motor, and worse its lack of torque, so it needs that short ratio to keep it within the power/torque band.
B18 on the other hand, doesnt necessary have that issue, hence why they have longer ratio.
Just to add to this, i have a similar issue on my B16, not that its a bad thing, but 5k at 110 can get a bit tedious at times..
I'm thinking taller ratio box when I move onto B20..
So what is the actual problem in this scenario, I can see the first post is a little short and all I gathered is that when he is doing 100+ on the motorway his rev's are to high for his liking?
Isn't there a chip or ecu which can be tuned to lower the power & decrease the rev's while at certain speeds?
If your GB is fine then why would you want to swap It out lol
Revs and speed has nothing to do with ecu/chip lol......
Revs and speed is all about gearing..... As said above, the problem with longer gearing using other b-series is that u the acceleration wouldnt be as fast as previously, hence why honda put in a short ratio gb.......
Take it to the track, and u will appreciate the short ratios sooo much more ;)
another way to give you a touch taller final drive is get larger rims(than standard)....larger circumference overall and slightly reduced RPM for same road speed. For example going from standard EK4 or EM1 (195x55x15?) to a 18 inch rim (say 235x35x18) the difference is 4.4% off (according to tyre calculator) - that makes 5,000rpm go to 4780rpm ish lol. Worth it ? Maybe.
why not just get a quieter exhaust??
