Windows smashed by randoms

Hey, Well i had 3 of my windows smashed by randoms in my dc4 integra, All i know is there indian and because im asian they have something against me? the other night i saw a bunch of indians chasing some asian guys pass my work, it was prob them they had weapons with them.

The windows smashed were the rear big window and the whole passenger side

Not going to bother making a report to police as i know they do shit all, as if the past i had a commodore stolen and that kunt crashed it so i know they do shit all. but waste my time.

My plan for now is getting the windows off someone else wreaking there dc4 integra.

For the rear window just wonder if its better off getting the whole tailgate as it would cost alot more then fitting just the rear window.

do you have comprehensive insurance?

if so, some offer a once a year free window replacement (any windows) or if not free, the excess is very small and u do not loose any "no claim bonus".

if you have full comp. insurance, give them a call and enquire within.

otherwise - if u can pick up a whole rear tailgate -same colour as your car, and is the same price as a rear window replacement - then go for it.

otherwise - buying a rear window only should be cheaper than the entire tailgate.

ring around for quotes - this will be your best friend.

Without getting into a discussion on what evidence you have to support your allegation that they were Indian, I have to say that even in other States of Australia it appears that certain ethnic minorities are continually being singled out when it comes to this sort of thing. Did you actually see them smash your windows?

My wife's car had its rear window smashed with a crowbar or tyre lever some time ago. Indians lived next door (quite a lot of them actually - all in the one house) and it turned out that they were the culprits (they basically admitted doing it in retaliation for damage done to one of their cars, which they thought was me but this was not the case.)

The Police could do nothing as there were no eye witnesses and even my reporting to them that one of next door admitted doing it, they still could not do anything even though we filed a complaint. The cost or repair (Accord Euro Luxury) was close to $500.

Side windows you can pick up from wreckers. The rear you'll probably have to have installed. Does the DC4 have an aerial embedded in the window as well as heating/demisting bars?

Also some time ago, someone put a bar through the front window and driver's window of one of my Civics. Don't know why but the cost of repair was $150 for the front window (mobile repair guy) and $25 for the driver's side (fitted that myself from the wreckers).

Unfortunately the younger generation of Indians currently in Australia are, in my experience, a very angry lot. Many people believe that they are here on student VISAS but very few of them actually attend an institution of learning. I know the dozen or so living next door to me did very little (a couple drove a courier van, one worked at a fast food outlet, and another at a local supermarket; the rest just drank and partied from Friday to Sunday all hours). They have all gone now, in an effort to evade the Police who are around all too often looking for them - an alleged scam involving the disappearance and insurance claim on an old courier van, unpaid fines, breaking the law (excessive noise complaints), driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, etc.

i dont see indians being rage, i see many young sudanese trying to form a gang and vandalize things they encounter. cars, billboard, houses.
