be4 i turbo my b18c i wanted to make sure what kind of boost i can push it to which is also safe,online is telling me with 10 psi i should have no porblems ,everyone else is telling me no no max 8 or 9 psi,i dont wana blow anything what are your thoughts? it will have an aftermarket ecu also will be tuned by dyno dave when the time comes.
its always better to be safe then sorry my begginer learner.... lol jokes. just run 8 pounds less engine wear, b16a with stock internals at 7psi does 13.6qtr mile b18c and 8 psi should to 13 flat. thats fast enough man... get a boost controller, when u want to race someone. jack it up to 10psi. but always leave it abotu 8psi i wrekon! :)

i do have money for internals but not enough to sleeve it,not worth taking the block apart again just to sleeve it will do the block all at once later
a turbo that is suited for 28psi is going to be a dog and in-efficent at 10psi. Its totally different setup. Dont try and make a setup that will work for u later on, u will have to sell 80% of the parts u make for a stock internals setup.Quote:
