Filling Up the DC2

ok ive owned my car for a little while now but no shit, when i fill up, doesnt matter where, i always have to fill up kinda slowly, without too much presssure or else it stops(that clicking noise). my mate reckons its got to do with the angle of the piping leading to the petrol tank, so im always standing there trying one angle left to right, then another then another... pain in the ass when all i could be doing is standing there :rolleyes:

anyone else experience this? got a good angle to fill up on? lol

when i put it in..
i always push down on the handle part..
then fill..

nothing to do with ur Dc2R

all bousers have different pressures in which they release the fuel....

man I have this problem too, I have only managed to get it right twice (only filled up about 7 times though) but ye mine keeps clicking off, takes much longer than it should do.

I think it has to do with the angle of the piping, because the delso has a steep drop into the fuel tank

Dont put the nozzle in all the way pointing down. Instead push down on the handle and it should fit naturally,... does this make sense? Play around with it till it doesnt click

with mine(dc2) u cant push it in al the way...i think i rest the handle bit of the petrol pump on the edge where the bottom of the tank lid would close so the actual nossel sits about half way in the tank inlet thingy....

dude its not like im sitting there crying about putting petrol into my car. i was just curious to see if anyone else had experienced this.
