Weight Reduction Tips ?

hey there

planning to DIy weight reduction to my civic, any tips and tricks ?

weight reducing isnt that great.. just stripped my EF and i'd say i'd lost a total of 30kgs keeping stock engine parts, p/steering & a/c. kinda of a waste, i have no interior rear seats or anything!

but if you were to lose alot of weight it would be from your rear seats, and spare tyre/jack, everything else comes from changing OEM parts to lighter aftermarket parts.

nice.. so did you keep all your plastic and trims.. etc etc ?

Civic Type R did Crank Shaft Pulley 4.5 kg 0.9 kg, wouldnt this unbalance the crankshaft ?

Wouldnt that give a lightened fly wheels effect as its apart of the drive component

reduces strain which inturn yields positive results.

weight reduction wise, the usual things like removing the interior trim/seats and taking a dump before you go for a drive :P

Go to the Gym, go for a run. :thumbsup:

You can get more then that out of one, just depends how far you wanna go, as was mentioned p/s,a/c, basic trim, spare and jack, sunroof, airbags and sound deadening.

Then as said its replacing parts with lightweight items such as panels, wheels ect.

Ive seen carbon fibre dash's in them as the EK dash weighs a crap load.

THINGS TO DO
- poo b4 hand
- vaccum sand off floor
- Haircut
- Shave Pubes
- Wear Thongs

EDIT:
AND....
- Any sort of heat shield from around the exhuast
- Inner plastic guards in wheel arches
- Never put in more than 10L of pet in car.
- Do burnout do get rid of unessasary rubber

EDIT * 2
AND.....
- Put on CF bonnet
- Put on CF boot lid
- Take of any sort of lipping on the car.
- Take off windscreen wipers @ motors
- Replace all windows with some sort of plastic
