Hi all,
A new day, a new problem. :D
Just started this afternoon. When I have my indicator on, and I turn the wheel, I get clicks about twice every quarter turn of the wheel. Yes, that means that when I am parking, it goes CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK. Anyone else have this problem? I think it can happen to any car as well. Going to let the dealer know at my next service (because I'm swamped and can't get to the dealer this month).
yes! mine does this exact same thing... it also makes the indicator turn off earlier than i'd like. i've got no idea whats goin on (gonna bring it up at my next service)

My next service is in May.... 3 months of clicky clicky is going to drive me crazy.
yea me too... trust me it gets really annoying.. been doing it on my car for close to 6 months (started about 20,000 kms)
could it be a fuse or something?
Could it be 1 of the indicator bulbs has blown?
clickety clack, front and back.
Can't be the bulbs as the signal light on the dash + sound will be flashing very fast.Quote:

Not the bulb. It is a clicking noise from the steering column. Usually you hear up to 2 clicks for the indicator self cancel. Mine now goes 8 clicks. Reading the US board, there are 2 solutions. Once is replacing the indicator switch, and the other was some damper in the column....
Mine does that too around round-a-bouts, if I turn right with the indicator on, then turn left straight after, the stalk clicks like mad
About a year ago, I compared my indicator to another Euro's and that one was not as loud as mine. Well, I've lived with the super loud click click and so far my indicators are still working properly. :)Quote:
