i got the spoon form filter with spoon style kelvar snorkel
just get the k&n... ur on a budget anyways mick!
i agree, the k&N would do the job of making some noise, might not perform the best but the noise is worth it.
went from k&n panel to CF JS Intake...
Noticable differences in noise and performance!

Its still a paper element and thats what matters.
I purchased myself an AEM V2! Really happy with it. I did quite a lot of research on different CAI kits, and from what i read the AEM V2 was the best value for money out there. Most other kits for similar $$ don't even make an increase in power. AEM claims the V2 makes between 8-10hp increase over stock. The sound is awesome too, it makes a deeper throatier sound below v-tech, but when the 6k rpm hits, it sounds like a Formula 1 car! I love it, wouldn't trade it for anything different.
has that power increase been proven yet?
