so i was reveresing(at a very slow speed) and i didnt notice a flat concrete block and i heard this solid "bang" noise
i got home and inspected under the car.and noticed that this thing was abit retarted, i hit where its indicated blue and can some1 tell me wat that circled red thing is?lol
BTW,this picture is taxxed, but similar to my car.

i blue part is just slightly bent, will it affect my car in any way? handling or wheel allignment?

i don tthink there are any unusual noises.. dont really pay attention, music is loud. will see tomorow though. car doesnt pull much or at all.. i think so there should be no problem thens.. yay:wave::wave:
YES, That's your rear lower control arm mounting point. If it's been moved...YES. It's a problem. Probably take it to a smash repairer, talk to them. :eek: :eek::thumbdwn:
highly doubt it's been moved. Looks like he just bent the frame a little. If you are that paranoid about damage to suspension get a wheel alignment and ask the guys to inspect area of concern due to accident.
i doubt its been moved too, cos all i did was kinda bend the blue part abit inwards, u can kinad see it the deformation.. from my view it doesnt look that big just some bent metal, but OZ____ makes me paranoid.. LOL
i'll just go mechanic when i have time and see .llol:(:(
That's not his Photo, So U can't see the damage. Fingers crossed, it only scratched the paint.
But, I must say, U guys don't seem to worry about much.
Like the name of this thread "I hit something..LOL" & "If the Frames bent " (Oh my god !) If the frames bent, That's a write-off. It's possible to straighten but not easy to get 100%. Which means your car is bent, it will feel different cornering left to right, than right to left. I know it's only alittle bit. So only alittle bit of difference. But I'm fussy with things like that.
