		Turbo - Fuel economy
		Hi All
Just though i'd get a view from you guys in relation to fuel consumption on your turbo'ed daily drivers. I'm looking at getting a turbo but i wanna know if its gonna kill me in fuel consumption as i use it as a daily driver. I've got an EK4 so any help would be appreciated.

What i'd like to know is what car you have, size of your turbo and what your fuel consumption per 100km is during normal driving and hard driving (estimate if your not sure).

		I have a DC2R

 GT3037S (480hp turbo) 204kw @ wheels.

 When I measured mine I got 430kms plus from a 50Lt tank....

 So I got about 11.4L per 100kms.

Thats boosting where I could, no granny driving.

Its gonna depend on your setup and definatly your tune.

Just because your putting on a turbo does not mean its gona drink heaps more fuel.

i get 395km's out of a 40L tank... go figure

Mine was tuned rather rich, so i could only pull about 350-380 daily driving...
When pushed, i would sit around the 280-300 mark.
