Hi guys n gals
I was looking to get an S2000 soon and was wondering how much normal servicing from honda usually costs?
Are there any major services around the 80-110k's region? What needs to be done and how much does it cost?
Thanks

$600's the ball park figure for a major service, though if you need brake pads etc then your looking at around $1500+
Change engine oil
Change oil filter
Change sump plug
replace spark plugs
top up all fluids
80,000km is the major service
there is no timing belt in the s2k
anyone changed their Timing chain tensioner yet?
i changed mine at 43,000km under warranty
the chain, tensioner and chain guide were all changed
any idea how much it costs? lol
u forgot that differential fluid is also changed in the 40km and 80km service
that adds some cost also
Dont foget the fuel filter which is in tank and a bitch to get to, valve adustments etc.
if you think $600 is dear for a service then you guys are queit tight and I think that your forgetting it is a $75,000 car.
