knob = lefty loosy and righty tighty.
shift boot = take centre console off? and look under the edegs of the shift boot.
what a noob question
hahahahaha
as above mention left to unbolt and right to bolt it up
Honda gear knob threading is 10mm i believe  (just thought id add that for you)
how do i take my handbrake knob thing off?
Handbrake handle is hard to pull off, but it can be done.... when i took mine off i heated it up and struggled with it to rip the damn thing off! A mate of mine actually took a knife to his to take his off!
haha ok i think i might just newspaper up the inside of my car to paint it then.
It can be done, just not the easiest.... usually stuck on there pretty good, not gonna slide off easily! but i put in an aftermarket handbrake handle and gearknob (all black, red stitching) and it looks really nice!
I can't remember if it's a plastic or a vinyl coating on the handbrake, but if it's vinyl... don't paint it, get vinyl dye from autobarn or repco...
I'm going to be buying a LOT of that stuff soon, Civic's interiour in grey starting to get a bit dated, gonna go black with red door inserts..... wannabe ctr ftw!
^^^ haha ive started mine already. so far ive just done like the inside of the hatch/boot in black, the centre console (with a dc2r gear boot) and since i have the cupholders one, ive also dont the lower part of the dash where the ashtray etc is. im waiting for my recaros to come before i start dying carpet/paint the doors and stuff. so you reckon you need vinyl dye? ive just been using vinyl paint from super cheap. so yeah back on topic. you screw the gearknob to the left. get a buddyclub type a gearknob, i ****ing love mine
i'm doing the same ting to my gf's car.
just about finished everything but the dash. i have a replacement dash to paint. and gonna put so me red bucket seats and trim the rear ones...
