Hi,
Just wondering how much extra flow does the fuel rail of a DC2R compare with a B16A and a D16Y4. Is it a lot different between the three??

the fule rails size and cc/minute flow rate etc arent so relevant to the engines flow of fuel - its the very injectors themselves which directly control it.
If you want more fuel into the mix get bigger injectors , and a ECU to control them/make them worthwhile.
b16 and b18 have same size inj
the d series rail and injectors are smaller and flow less than the b series
flow is regulated by the fuel pressure regulator. at the end of the day you can put a bigger rail but if fuel pressure and injector duty cycle stay the same there will be no advantage
Tanghy I assume you are correct but Honda say the injectors are two very different units.Quote:

Putting larger injectors/fuel rail won't do anything unless you have an ECU to alter the duty cycle!
would a Mugen 'race only ecu' qualify the necessity of larger injectors over the B16A ones ?
you need to use the injectors that are the size the ECU is tuned for if you wanna do it properly
As above!Quote:

You don't need a bigger fuel pump for N/A. The stock one will be able to cope with gay N/A power.
