Seems to me like a lot of these teams are struggling without the blown diffusers.

Seems to me like a lot of these teams are struggling without the blown diffusers.
they'll get the hang of it after a few races.
still early.
without a doubt. i think itll make for an interesting race tomorrow.
Ricciardo is going hard but, good to see another Aussie going well.
Nice to see Mercedes mixing it up with McLaren and Red Bull
What about lotus! Second row start, pulled a rabbit out of a hat with this one.!
Great drive from Grosjean. Brilliant. Feeling very down atm... Seb 6th... He is def struggling with the RB8. Now I have to put up with the many seb bashers on forums.
But nonetheless, incredible stuff from Hammy
Real happy how Grosjean did compared to Kimi. I am not sure I like Kimi. Hope Kubica comes back to replace him.
Was such an exciting qualifying session. Cannot wait for the race.
Awesome quali today - some real competition from so many teams - this is the exact thing that every F1 fan was looking for! Williams have speed, Sauber have stepped their game up and Marussia has som eruns on the board to justify their position on the grid.
How was Karthikayans form? moving road block that numpty...
Im really hoping they actually enforce the 107% rule this time.
It all depends on how many kick backs Bernie gets...
Looks like the Red Bull era is over. Mclaren really dominating with Mercedes going hard.
I would not count them out after 1 race mate....Though the blown diffuser was more integral to the RB7 then it was to any other car and it really suited how Seb slung that car around last year, the bulls will be up there for sure.
Lot's of interesting things to take out from quali so farm, and I will be thoroughly watching the race!
And yes I hope the 107 does get enforced.... wtf was karthikayen doing.... they must not have mirrors on that HRT
Thank fcuk the two HRT cars weren't allowed to start
Agreed, If they got out of the way and kept to their place they probably would've started - but since Karthikayan (spelling) was a dic in quali they got a serve...
Great race! Lot's of drama and quality drives. Very pleased with Seb's second spot. Button drove magnificently. Williams look good with their new renault engines, and good to see kimi baggin points. Looking forward to seeing the mercs in Sepang.
Just got back from melbourne this morning! 2nd time at the F1 and it's still epic. The noise of the F1 is something to experience first hand trackside!.
Poor Webber, almost a podium finish at his home GP. Congrats to Ricciardo in QF3 for qualifying 10th on debut!
Overall it 'appears' that all the mid field teams have improved from last year but in actual fact I think they have just come closer together. Renault, Williams, Mercedes, Sauber, Torro Rosso all appear to be strong points finishers. hard to judge from Melbourne since their was so many retirements but good to see that they've mixed it up. I really do think Mclaren have jumped Red Bull this year though, they were so easy to run away with the lead, Vettel only passed Hamilton because of pit stop/SC luck.
Mark should do it......
schui into p3 is a hark back to old imes
vettel will crash out 1st corner in traffic :p
Good thing about starting on medium tyres is that when the softs start to wear everyone around you need to pit and then you have clear track, provided you don't lose places in first few laps. Hoping Webber will do well though :)
So, first lap pit stops for wet tyres?
awesome race, bad luck for mclaren... how bout perez!!
Man, that sauber was on fire! In the good way though....
Granted the way he got there was circumstantial, but he stayed in that position and actually gained time on the Ferrari on his own merit and performance - well done.
I was so excited watching that race last night, the mid-field is going to be really interesting this year!
who thinks it's conspiracy, him losing control for a split second to give Alonso that gap again......
I think that fact that his team got on the radio and said "Don't take any risks, we need this position and these points" threw him off and he lost focus for a minute - some desperation perhaps from the Team...
Perez would have easily passed Alonso easy if it wasn't for the mistake. He was gaining on him at about 1 second per lap before he caught up to his ass and then would have had about 6 laps of opportunity to pass. Heard about the conspiracy theories about keeping Ferrari happy but not sure if theres any truth to it.
man, missed the race on TV, anyone know where to get a copy of BBC version of the broadcast? thanks in advance.
Tpb .....
anyone watch the race last night?
5 diff winners from 5 diff race!
good win for Maldanado and Williams!!
very good battle for 1St and well done to Maldonado for keeping his cool. Also vettel for making up a few spots.
Kimmy goes alright in the lotus also
yeahh very good first win by him... as Alonso was chasing him down..
very cool and and composed in keeping the lead
would of been great if kimi has caught up and then have a three way battle!
Drs makes races so much more interesting
Great race by Pastor.. Fully deserved. I still have no idea where that pace from Williams came from though :/ lol

Ahhh, I forgot to record it. When is the replay on? Is it Tuesday night?
Sounds like a great race!
Just looked it up. 10:30pm tonight. ONE.
Great race last night, was hoping alonso would win but 3rd place is good enough to have him leading the championship with webber now equal 2nd with vettel.

Too much Jessica Michibata....not focused
http://img.listal.com/image/1683264/...-michibata.jpg
Can't blame him...
she's pushing his buttons!
you'd think that Jenson's driving style would be best suited for this years tyres contruction...
maybe he's abit too soft on the tyres and needs that little extra aggression to make his tyres work
last nights race had very unexpected results!!
well done to Schumi for podium finish!
Yeh, gonna watch the 2nd half tonight. Results sound interesting.
Was the most eventful races in valencia ever!
Good race last night, any1 know if reply is on 1hd tonight ?

Yeh thanks mate, just checked it's on at 11:10pm on 1
silverstone weather putting on a show! love it
When they are on the track!!!!
Hopefully restart is soon
great win from webber!
^^^ Yes! Well done!
Gaining alot of respect for Alonso, never really liked him before for some reason. Perhaps a sense of arrogance...
This season though i see him racing very professionally (when webber overtook him they both gave each other room but still drove aggressively) and his attitude seems much more humble. I think he is just there to get the job done and enjoy himself.
As above though, very good job from webber
pretty boring when F1 is on holidays! :(
anyone here feel the same!
Next race in US?
No way thats in november, next race is at Spa in Belgium
Spa brings back memories of Webber taking Alonso at Eau Rouge...
kimi gonna win for lotus at spa :D
Getting pretty keen for Spa, no doubt!
Lewis to Mercedes, Perez to Mclaren
His going backwards.
Problem with stepping into a championship winning car immediately is that it leaves you no where to move but sideways, which in F1 is always a risk. Mercedes have snapped up a fair few experience engineers and knowing Brawn he will have a ~2 year plan to see the car consistently competitive. Having said that, I don't know how well Hamilton is when it comes to setting the car up, Senna was poor at diagnosing the chassis compared to say Prost but that didn't stop him driving the pants off the car and being accurate to the nearest ~40mm... freak of nature.
Brawn knows Mercedes isnt going to be competitive next year for the title, he's said him self that he's looking towards 2014 and said he has already made a few thing for the 2014 car.
i think hamilton will win a race or 2 next year but not the championship.
I'd say Merc's turbo powerplant was a big factor in the switch.
for sure, if they do what what did with Brawn GP and have a whole year in development i think they can take the title.
