Definitely stage 2 nos button.
Dont have that button on my EK1 .. strange.. Kill switch possibly.
Like Hisoka said.. open it and trace it.
cheers

+1 for kill switch!!
my cousin in 2005 bought a nice car, and there was this button near the gear stick, we could never figure out what it was. one night on the highway he flicked it by accident, it was those lights underneath the car, they were blue.
Press the button, Joystick and thrust controller comes out of the hidden compartments then a big button labelled afterburner appears on the centre console...
Afterburner > NAWZ lol
prob a kill switch or just some random button that was installed and then never used (i have had that a few times on my previous cars)
i had a 99 sedan and never noticed one of those, pretty sure it aint stock mate, im thinkin like hisoka, pull of the plastics see where it goes
its for your emergency injector seat lol
my ek1 doesnt have it..and dont tink its standard
its not standard, the previous owner would of put it there. most prob kill switch
Looks like a button I put into my car to open the garage....except mine was in a logical place.
It may be OEM and factory, but i doubt it's a factory location. Seems not very hidden in plain sight.
it is factory location. Exact location in the instruction diagram :)
That really doesn't look factory at all. Are you sure it's not a dealer option? Can you give me a part number for the alarm? I can look it up in my catalog to confirm it is factory.
Btw, what is that vent above the switch for?
Vallet button, pffft... It's the oil slick button for when ur in a hectic cop chase and need to lose em.
My EK1 2000 Gli also has this button
Dont know what it does but my car does have a factory alarm.
A mate with the same car also has the same button in the same spot as the pic on first page.
