What are you actually trying to achieve though? Your obviously going to lower the car from stock height right?
I've only actually had my N+ on 7f/7r clicks, then changed front to 10 and left rear at 7 clicks.
It's comfy in a lowered kinda way, if you know what I mean. If you lower the car and have it at the lowest/softest setting you'll scrub/scrape.
yes I whant to lower the car and thinking about Buddy Club N+ coilovers.
So how low are you going and what are going to do? Just a daily drive?

Different spring rates on different shocks = different stiffness/ feeling.
Also depends on what size wheels/tyre profile your going to be running, if you are changing wheels.

But you will always scrape being low and having it on a soft setting.

Will be bouncy on bad roads like RNP, unlike stock where it soaks up the bumps.

Hey ya, just a noob question, how low is 30-40 mn measure as in finger gap? i'm interesting in lowering my car too, trying to study the N+ vs K'sport [12/7 spring rate nearly same as N+ for $1400]...can anyone here suggest me difference between these two? Yes the wider the wheel the more limitations and possibilities you might need to roll the guards.
Harshness i dependant on the size of the wheels you choose.
The bigger the wheels the lower profile your tyres will need to be;
Lower profile tyres will cause more harshness as there will be less flexibility in the tyres.
19" should be fine just get the right offset with the right size tyres and you'll be fine.
But for a safe size i say 19"x 8 or 8.5 running 225/35 tyres should be safe to clear and no scrub.
If you go 2finger gap with 19" that will still look like a 4WD, i would suggest you get your suspension first then think about wheels and all.
Strut bar helps in steering by stiffening up the tower sections of the chassis, it produces the feel that your car is like a race car.
So it increases understeer.
As you said if you lower the car and put strut tower bar on you will not notice much of a performance diff except that the steering would have tightened up.

yeah its still a bit high i agree, when i finally find the wheels i want i'll do it 0 finger gap all round

i'm gonna go 18" for the new ones, something with a dish and yeah with the right offset, i love a dish on wheels i think thats why the tenzo's didnt do it for me

Even if you turn it to the softest setting, its still a coilover at the end of the day.
The ride comfort will be a lot harsher than stock no matter what.
buddyclub shouldn't be harsh with 10-7 cause i've been in .QD 06+ euro and it's bloody comfy

Are you sure you didn't over turn your damper?
what tyre and tyre pressure you running? how heavy are your wheels?
For example: Running my Gramlights with Dunlop sp sport maxx and CE28N with Toyo T1R both (pumped to 38psi) on my tein monoflex at the same damper setting they have different quality on ride comfort.
It will always be bumpier than stock suspension, or even a shock and spring combo, because coilovers have a high spring rate.Quote:
