dc2 vtir 5 stud conversion

hey guys

im thinking of doing a 5 stud conversion on my 95 dc2 vtir
for the conversion is just a bolt off bolt on job with the vtir hub coming off and a type r hub going on or is it more complicated.
what is involved with this conversion and will the dc2r hub fit straight on or will i have to source a 5 stud vtir hub from an aftermarket dealer

dude its not a straight swap, if ur getting the conversion kit of a integra type r u will also need 36mm drive shafts as urz are 32mm, its better if u get the kit of a ek9 type r u wont need to change any drive shafts as the ek9 has 32mm. i was guna do this to my vtir, but i bought a type r instead

only JDM '98 ITR come with 36mm shafts. would be much better to get aussie delivered ITR as they are more common and cheaper. may aswell get the brake lines off the ITR while your at it. you should also do an overhaul on the calipers: boots, piston ect....

and how many have u had and owned and done
so why isnt it a straight swap if u have all the parts?
so why dont you buy 36mm cv nuts next time you need to take your driveshafts off on your aussie dc2r

iv never done it, just been told that by alot of people

so which is better
ek9 hubs or dc2r hubs

im looking for the quickest and easiest swap.

go for aussie DC2R, cheaper and parts will be easier to come buy.

Pretty sure 90LAN knows what he's talking about, he's converted his own EG (and probably others) to 5-stud.

how about the drive shafts
will they fit or would it be a better bet to get the ek9 conversion cause of the same diameter drive shafts

i reckon ek9 is easier bolt straight on

As 90LAN said - either the Ek9 or Aus ITR will do. He has the experience with the conversion done on his EG6 and previous EG.
Drive shafts used by both are 32mm and Dc2 vtir uses 32mm drive shafts also so they will fit.

than u need wheels

Dont know if this is mentioned but if I was to buy a 5 stud conversion kit what exactly will be in it?

calipers
rotors

Apart from those what else am i expected to be in a 5 stud conversion?
