Your drive chain.
Check your service booklet.

AARON!!!
no more servicing after 200xxxkm ROFL!!
excellent link though.
Rofl at adding rep on your post. Funny comment.
Haha, I think the 200k service is almost the same as the 100k service. So just use the 110k interval for your 210k and replace any parts that are worn.
would have thought so, damn i am due for my 80k soon.
You reckon i should take it back to Honda or get my mate to do it?
80k has valve clearance check and fuel filter over the other services. Just find a workshop that can do valve clearance for cheap. Or ask your dealer how much they charge for a valve clearance check alone.
Adrian from Toda does valve clearance checks too, so give him a call.
Fuel filter is easy. I DIY'd mine. Just need to be careful to unplug every wire so you don't snap anything. If you do, just solder it up. You can buy the fuel filter from Toda or from JDMYard.
daz if you do call Adrian to check how much the valve clearance check is let me know how much it cost.
i'll ask him when i get my car tuned.
cheers mate.
help me with installing fuel filter then!
how much fuel filter? :)
i still don't know where he lives.... :p
Just had my 80k service done, $800 later! :o Honda service FTL!
Yeah, i'd be interested to know exactly what they did for that, did they give you an itemised list by any chance?
Also, could someone suggest the best way to relieve the fuel pressure without getting fuel everywhere? I bought a fuel filter at 75k, and my Euro has now done 85k and I still haven't fitted it...
Oh, one other thing (and trying not to take this thread too far off topic), does anyone recommend using injector cleaner (and if so, which one?) in the Euro? I don't think there is anything wrong with my injectors, just more interested in a preventative maintenance POV. Someone once told me in can improve fuel efficiency. Does a high sulfur content fuel (like we have in Aus) effect injector performance (long term)?
i just did my 80k service for $450 (no valve clearance done or air filter change).....think thats a little exp.
I've tried the valvoline fuel injector....i could see a little improvement after the next fuel refill but not much...after my 80k, my acceleration improved a lot..suspect its the fuel filter.
I pulled out the fuel pump relay (blue coloured relay behind the driver's side foot well trim (above the fuse area), then started the engine and let it run until it died on its own. Then get lots of rags, cover the fuel tubing and unclip it. There will still be some fuel that will spray out.
i'd got my 50000 service done @ automaster for under 198, didnt think valve clearance was done, anyway how often should we do valve clearance like i meant eg. every 20000km or every 40000kms service?
can i just buy the valve clearance, get this done myself? is it hard? can anyone here please guide me DIY for this
thankz
I'm sure Honda would do a valve clearance check by itself, not sure how much though. It's not hard if you are mechanically minded, search these forums and you'll find a link to the Euro service manual, it has step by step instructions.
I checked mine recently, the clearances IIRC (someone please verify?) should be 8-10 thou for the intake and 10-11 thou for the exhaust. I didn't have to adjust any of mine, they were all still spot on. Took me around an hour.
Tools wise you'll need a standard socket set, feeler gauge, liquid gasket and a torque wrench (optional, but recommended).
