with the toda vtec killer cams obviously you ablish vtec but why, what is the advantage. Its that these cams are viscious and lumpy as and for drag use, but why abolish vtec?

so power is constant thru the power band, constant trq curve, and they make power after 5000rpm to like 12k in some cases
Its not so much that Vtec has been abolished, more so that the low cam profile has been removed, i.e your in vtec all the time.

i was aware that they only run one profile and they have slolid liifters etc.

ur vtec lobe is pritty much the only lobe working, constant vtec..
They are especially designed for a certain class of Racing in Japan, where you are not allowed VTEC. Forgot the class of racing.
All B heads are solid "lifters" VTEC or not.

yeah instead of stage 1 and 2 u get stage 2 all the time.. if u need pictures go to initial d when takumis 2nd engine is shown lol same concept.. but remember its a cartoon.. not sure if it'll be great for street
