Im chasing the above mugen rear bar skirt, anyone know where I can get one in OZ?

I'll post mine up soon, once the wheels, headlights & mugen rear bar have been sorted.

Also I'm in the process of thinking up an ideal f22b1 inatkes (with resonator removed).

Looking for a little low-end response, & nice on vtec

1)long ram + blox filter

2)Custom 2.25 black sleeper mandrel intake pipe, feeding to either a stock modified, or larger diameter air box with a K&N panel.

Can anyone think of other OEM honda airbox's that are larger & fit's the factory location?

the owner is david from one of US forums. not sure if i can mention the forum name here...

all those cars are in the US.

the mugen lips front and rear are no longer available as genuine items. all sold here in aus are replicas, and i highly doubt the quality of them... see it and you'll know.

back in the late 90s, king motorsports used to supply all mugen aero parts for this cd5 accord, incl. the one you see on jtcc mugen accord (the tamiya car with piaa/castrol/jaccs decals).

^ Your spot on ;) except the CD5 with mugen bar belonging to the US, looks like it's in JDM land.

hi i have the front bar like the one below. same exact front bar. its actually an add-on lip to the existing bumper ('96 onward) let me know if anyone is interested. the bar is brand new, and has never been mounted before. i have no accord no more, so am willing to let this go. thanks.

Why why why do people continue to put massive exhausts and massive wings on cd5s?
from the first page, the only ones which strike me as decent are the first post pics 5 and 7 from the top.
Simplicity and style win it for me, not over the top wings and massive bodykits and exhausts, I dont think it's needed. Makes it look ricey and crap.

Fair enough, i didn't realize there was a set look we all have to have? I got over grandpa spec.

I didnt say everyone has to have the same look, I was saying from my perspective that the "massive wings and massive exhausts" wreck the overall simplicity which makes an accord look good.

both simple styles are more obvious ricer styles work for different people.

i personally prefer low and luxurious touches on my accord (not a CD5 but a CK1) VIP-style, big wheels, big offset, on the ground with a simple exhaust system and luxorious furnishings inside.

on the same hand i also really like more ricer-esque mods too. depends on the person i guess.

^ totally agree... the CD5/6 can be a nice VIP style also just looks at what the japanese do with them.

That said most VIP style cars are ummm auto.

I look at the CD5/6 as a four door DC2 with free JDM front end!

Ricemeister, you basically just said the exact "simplicity" style i was referring to.
Heres a few snaps of my car and a couple of mates (bun135 from this forum).
As u can see, im like luxurious, not over the top mods. 18in ame, tein coilovers, jdm stanley lights, 96 bumper of 94 (longer lights)- clear, side markers clear, simple stelthy lukey exhast, vti boot lid instead of vti-s (hated spoiler).
By the way, Mine is the white, Bun135 is the blue, and ex member poid is the maroon. Enjoy :)

Hooray for your stock/simplicity style, BUN135 is sorta more my style... lip/eyelids etc... not feeling the shoes on all rides though.

But there CD's so it's all good.

Nice CD5's...

I'm digging Bun135's ride...skirts and front lip are clean.

not a big fan however on any of the wheels, too chromey. would look better with JDM front and rear and on the ground..more VIP style.

still, nice rides.

LOL, i never said simplicity was stock!

that maroon accord has far more modifications than your stock height accord with a seibon lip. Maybe you should look past the headlights or eyelids and look at the silver radiator infront of the maroon accord.
Oh but wait, your car is like a dc2 with 4 doors....:p so it might be quick enough to not warrant forced induction.

Yeah was contemplating changing the wheels, don't have the funds at the moment. Looking at some lenso 18s, no dish, right to the rim, prob around 5 spoke or more, not 100% sure yet.

Maybe something along the lines of dtaila's old wheels if any1 remembers them, dunno who has his car now but that look is good imo.

how does an automatic tranny have any relevence to having more or less modifications on any car? there are tonnes of modified autos how is a manual stock car better than a turbo auto for instance.

Please enlighten me on how a car is more "modified" if it is a stock manual tranny compared to a stock auto tranny, your mods are barely affected by ur tranny, I mean seriously, your lip and headlights make ur car more modified than BUn135s which is auto because urs is manual?

Hey FAT VTI where did you get your clear side indicators??

Also do you know if the CD5 Series 2 Front Bar indicators will fit Series 1?? Im looking at getting some clear ones??

Mods: 18inch Lenso Concept 5's, D2 Coilovers, JDM Black housing headlights, CAI, Front Strut Bar, Tinted Windows, 2 1/4 Exhaust w/twin tip (not sure of brand), HM Headers, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and Top Gun Performance Leads, Viper alarm, Sound System.

Im liken this thread, its so alive and kickin and all these car look good in there own unique way. At the end of the day it all comes down to each individual taste on how we modify our car to our own liken.

This thread needs more pics of poids car in my opinion.

Poids car is too "stock" with "rims bro" looking in comparison to the "ricer look".
I still reckon Poids car is very neat, not overdone and an absolute sleeper which shits over a high cd5 with a front lip & decals :P

In answer to your questions-
1) side indicators off ebay, you can probably get black housed ones im pretty sure I've seen them.
2) 96-97 (series 2) have longer bumper (indicator) lights than the 94-95 front bumper lights, so no they won't fit.
You can still get clear or black housed front bumper lights off ebay as well.
Also, what front strut brace have u got?, I've heard they reduce body roll significantly in lowered accords.

Thought there might be a difference in front bumper lights.. Will have to check out ebay..

The strut brace is no brand but is sturdy.. Does make a difference and has stiffened the up front end..

I am looking at going simular to your setup in regards to the lights.. They just clear or black housing??

FAT Vti: Your car is looking pretty dam schlammed.. How much have you lowered it??

-3.5 all round or there abouts.
I raised the front up since those pics to have it sitting equal, however now the springs have settled the rear may be a touch lower but i seem to notice it when no1 else does lol. Tein basics, Don't you have the same suspension Bumper? or am i thinking of some1 else?

Yeah i was trying to bring it back.

I've just purchased the domain, so i put forums up last week. So being to make the return to www.OzAccord.com. Just need all the old members to stumble across it to help rebuild the community.

Few people have been signing up. Had like 6 new people today.

OzAccord is back up now bro. But its a new forum, so there is none of all the old information. But we can rebuild. I'm about to grab some handy stuff off Cd5tuner and chuck it up on OzAccord.

My CD5 is stock. I bought an FD instead of modding mine. But i've just sold my FD. I plan to do some simple mods, but im in no rush.
