Thinking of changing the rims to OZ Superleggera 17". Do you think it would look nice on euro? Did a quick photochop, too lazy to change the rear wheels as well :D

photochopped ehehhee
OZ 17" superL's looks like 16" for some reason. maybe due to the spokes not extend full out towards the rim.
same applies to Enkei EPF1.
but all are good looking rims
YES!
I love those mags! Of the 4 chops I did in the other thread with the red Euro they were my favorite!
I would hit them!
Oh yeah - lower it :D

O.Z. Superlegger rims are good, but I think they suit small cars better (e.g. Golf, Evo's)
I personally like the Enkei NT03's better than the RPF1, but ultimately, I think the CN28's are the best cos they are lightweight and look pretty sleek.
similar design to my rims. I have speedy lite-7's. Some people have said they look smaller (because they don't extend to the very edge )to me aswell. Personally however, i like having a lip on my rims (especially when its a slightly shinier machined surface like) they look great when they're spinning. Later down the track i might lower the car to make em really look like the 17's they are. But, besides, it's not the percieved size that makes the rim good its the weight and design IMO.
btw, my euro is Graphite pearl as well.
Got any pics man, I got graphite as well and wouldnt mind seeing what they look like on the car. They don't look too bad. Are they really that light? How much do they weigh?Quote:

Hehehe... looks like I'll have to get Volk CE28N LOL :D
I think 17" would be sufficient, and I can still have a comfortable ride. I heard using 18" will make the ride much harder.
It's usually because of the lower profile tyre.Quote:

18's shouldn't be that much harder man, still a 40 profile tyre. It would look much better and won't cost you that much more. Still looking at about $5k though. :(Quote:

i'd get the Enkei! :)
when you getting them Ig? In time for the cruise ;)?
Type R, i'll take some pics next time i giver her a wash, it's raining every second day at the moment. I think they suit the car pretty well, but it's true that they do look slightly smaller than 17's, but i don't really mind. As for weight, 8.3 kilos each is pretty decent i thought . I asked beau repairs about speedy lite-6's as well which weigh 6.5kg (which is pretty crazy) each but they didn't come in a 5 stud pattern which sucks (they made 17" look even smaller tho). Tyres also made a big difference i found, i got goodyear eagle F1 GSD3's (45 offset /225 width), big advantage over stock in terms of grip.
And that is without the tyres! :rolleyes:Quote:

and Enkeis

Volks look way better....
Choose ur alloys wisely... 17's make sense but 18's should be alright on a euro....
Don't get 19's. My acceleration in my car is shocking with 19's. It weighs a lot and i can feel it especially when i corner really fast....
If you want performance, go 17's
For looks, 18's....that's my opinion.
That black "kinto" Euro with luckystar kit has buddyclub P1 racing II's. 19" x 8" I think with a +45 offsetQuote:

The Volks looks delicious! I might just save up really hard to get them. ;)
Man, it is really funny how our GF's dictate what we do to OUR cars!
I think 18's are the go, 17's too small. I am not sure but if you get 18" Volk CE28N's they might actually be less weight than standard. They are lighter than TE37's. As long as you stick to forged rims, you can't go wrong!!! Well..... your wallet can!
