ive herd bout stuff like thiss. but isnt the wheel spin gonna be the same because the engine has just changed postion not a real Rear wheel drive?.

gsi-psi , even though everything has been swapped to the other end it doesnt mean it will behave like a FWD, as all of the weight transfer moves to the back of the car upon acceleration onto the driving wheels, while in FWD it moves away from the driving wheels and thus you have less weight acting on the them and more traction issues.
yeah but i herd it still doesnt grip better than a normal rwd.

ay because the engine is in the back doesnt that mean that he will not lose as much power as if the engine was at the front like it wouldnt have 2 travel far 2 get to the wheels?

The engine goes from front to middle, it's still in front of the rear axle as apposed to it being in front of the front axle which is the reason why it would have had a front bias before.Quote:

Overhang doesn't have much to do with it.
It's to do with the amount of weight, and the distance that weight is from the center of the car. The less the weight is, the further it can be from center of the car without having much of an impact, also the closer a larger weight is to the center of the car the less impact it will have with the front/back weight distribution.
The reason i talk about the engine in regard to the axles is that 100kg behind the front axle (closer to the center of the car) is going to have less impact on the cars balance, then if that same 100kgs is positioned in front of the front axle.
The more central the weight, the easier it is to rotate the car :)
A car rotates around the centre of mass, not the centre. The more concentrated the mass around it's centre, the easier the car is to rotate.

You could pull whatever statements and inferences you like, regardless of what center you decide on (be it of mass, or wheelbase), the point i made about the effect of weight in regard to it's positioning and effect is still true.
see the quality of welds etc ? this bloke is clearly a DIY backyarder...but regardless id hate to be driving it down the 1/4 when something snaps.

you would want some strong strut bracing in the front there and a good water pump to get the water all the way to the back of the car with the radiator in the front like that
That rear engine compartment looks quality.
