Nothing major really, just look after it and it should be ok.

Should be okay. When your buying one the only thing that might need replacing is the rear bushings but nothing major no real engine problems just service regularly and you'll be fine

nothing wrong with ek's persoanlly never owned a vtir but have owned the gli and cxi, very reliable if you get it maintained and serviced reguraly and do the usual inspections, how mcuh kms?
About 200ks
got 210+k on mine before i tore it apart
can probably expect to change the thermostat soon or later
other than that no real problems unless you start modding, then it all goes wrong :(
