EP3R for sure no doubt! :) You wont be dissapointed.

EP3 all the way, friend of mine had DC5R and now he drives EP3:)) use to drive his DC5 and it's not even close to EP3 performance wise (I'm talking about stock cars)

My advice would be to go test drive both and get a feel for how they differ from each other and make your decision upon those test drives.
It's probably the best way as everyone is biased in one way or another to either the EP3R or DC5R.

Depends, Cooper S has torque steer (JCW has heaps) though it is lighter and more go kart like but lacks LSD

LSD is only $350 i think....
LSD is only electronic not an actual diff. Brakes inside wheel so it's doesn't compare to a proper oneQuote:

i had bilstein shocks on it n ep3 is stock handling wise.
mini had heaps of torque steer and on the first drive it threw the car in the next lane.
the S/C whine makes it a very enjoyable drive.
