I think you should use whatever brand cams your builder/tuner are comfortable using.
i think the todas give you more top end power, where as the skunk will give you more midrange, you like speed? or do you like exiting a corner fast?
Like delsol said depends what applications you are going to use them for
skunk pro 2's are known to produce good power
the yanks love them...

why does people always say toda or skunk?
have you looked at rocket m22x? i believe they are better then toda and skunk2
you're using them Mikey?
no but ive seen great results with them excellent results
Have you used toda's or skunks? I believe m22's are the cheaper option but i dont know about better or not? I wont say there better coz i haven't had experience with them. But have you? you seem to thinks todas and skunk are quite overrated. People speak of those brands coz they are popular. Popular because they are good.
LOL, of course i should of known, anything that the BYP CREW uses is the fastest.
lol flick mate for your age.. your immature... i dont think BYP even use m22x im just stating every one says toda and skunk2 yes i know they are an excellent brand and im not questioning that either they are great but there is better products... and i just stated one of them LOL
rocket m22x aye i dont really see them with great results.
m24x much better choice... but
straightout i rekon best choice for a (11-12comp) b20vtec is skunk pro 2 cams....but if money wasnt
an issue why not the toda c's
Unless your going to have proven facts don't state it. Can say they are good we need proof.
Anyways there are to many brands out there...it comes down to your budget and what you want out of the car.
Do research and gather facts, then go on from there.
Asking in here you'll just get biased opinions and things do your own search
Out of those 2 cams you listed. Skunk2 pro 2's will be my pick. We always wanted to use these cams as alot of yanks with B20 had great success with them.
But you have toda C2 atm? I would just stick to them. They will work just fine.
As for the m22x comments, yeah we use them as Rocket from US sent them to be tested. There's only a few sets floating around. Current motor has similar comp as you. Just read up the spec list from BYP civic motor and choose what you think works. We know these cams to date net over 160kw atw on the current motor.
Any of the cams talked about in this thread can do the job,
& they can all be made to work really well, some more easily than others...
What it comes down to is instalation & tuning.
So before you throw your money at something you want simpley because you like the sound of it,
Speak to your mechanic/tuner, make sure he knows exactly how to set them up.
If the cams are not timed correctly, no matter what you buy; you'll be wasting your money.
As Jimmy said, you already have Spec C2's so be aware, there really is no real pot of gold in swapping cams for you. It may be a case of what you have could be optimised further or you simply want more than what your current setup have is capable of pushing out.
Combination is everything, not just the list of parts.
Machining, assembly & tuning play as big a part as what headers or intake you use.
So speak to someone who knows & has done it before & follow their advice.
Thanx for all the comments people.
Sorry it was an in-house test. Some people might get upset
very upset boi lol . Anyways chris hurry up and get this machine runnin ! Cant wait too see it
Is anyone running Skunk Pro 2s here in Oz in a B set up? With selection of camshaft Skunk 2 and Toda serve there own purpose with engine outputs. With my personal opinion with Skunk 2 cams in a K Series they are a great alrounder and have unbeatable midrange over most after market cams. Toda cams once set up and monies spent to support there aggresive duration will tend to yeild you more top end. Personal choice is left up to the driver. Both great proven companies and it comes down to want you want, dyno numbers or a car that works for the dollar you have spent.
ive got skunk 2 pro cams in a b16 head on a b20 block. need to get a retune coz its gt a rough idle, bt other than that im happpy with them.
as benson said.... More expensive products are not always the best.... you have been given good advise from everryone in this thread... From what i can see the people who have commented have a lot of experience in this topic.. well most anyway....
oh yeah is that the 999 car?. Did you get it dynoed yet>?..
im using skunk 2 pro 2 on my 1.8 with hi comp piston and is happy with the performance of it compare to other cams i used...
Personally, I would use buddyclubs or bumpstix, neither are overly expensive
149KWS. but im still gonna get a re tune wen adrian comes 2 brissy
