Doing the H&R Drop next week sometime... :-)
Very nice :D
What size rims are those? Looks good, and will be even better after the drop :D
is that a custom made box for your subs?
Thanks Guys.
19" Rims, and yes, the box is custom made. 15" subs, additional Deep Cycle Battery, and a 14000w Digital Monoblock amp.
Nice car Greg! I seen it first on Acurazine!
thats realy huge subbies !!! no space for the boot anymore lols considering getting a nice ICE setup ?
Wow greg!!! What a huge subs!!!
can you post your pics on the cu2 pics thread on my signature below?
huge subbies indeed~~ look forward to seeing the car when it's lowered! should look great with the rims
s.hit man...epic boot setup!
have you got the car sound deadened yet?
thats awesome as. where did you get it sound deadened?
Did it all myself...
HUGE SUBS...
nice wheels, suits the car well...
nice man. what did you use? i gotta do mine soon
I used TMAT - a product by TARGA. Not sure if its available where you are..
no offence but theyre just kicker cvr 15's yeh?.... wheels look nice though, what brand/model are they?... how low you goin? tyres in the arches would look sexual
Lol - no offense? Kicker CVR's recoiled with competition TARGA quad coils. QVC coils, but CVR face.
Doing the H&R drop, not sure how low it actually goes. Sits quite nice though, saw a few samples. These are RACING HEART rims.
nice ride its gonna look great with the drop. v good to see more CU2s being modded now.
Looks good , that's 2 of us now with 19s.
Slight reduction in "take off" power hey Albii? Not as quick away as she was with the standard wheels...
Wow! Nice wheels. OMG; no boot! Any way, by the time you're old and deaf, the Cochlear implants will be even better than they are now so you won't need to preserve your hearing. But they're not cheap; especially if the hearing loss is self-inflicted. lol
I have just done the H&R drop... Absolutely awesome, would recommend it to anyone. Car will be washed tomorrow, will take pics and post. The ride is comfortable, the drop is sweet, and it doesnt touch when going over speed bumps etc.
H&R Drop done. Pics taken on a dull cloudy day, with a cellphone camera. :(
hey greg, full side profile please.. :p
Nice drop! I think its perfect or close to perfect. Slammed is nice too, but too impractical for me :p
Are they the same springs as these? Would be about 1.2" drop?

Slammed? :-)
Slammed, like this :p

Thats mad, cheers mate :D.
Will probably grab that then, and pick up some other stuff from heeltoe at the same time.
I guess for everyday use i dont really need coilovers since i'm not going for a massive drop or tracking. Hopefully the shocks dont wear out too much faster though XD
What amp is it? musta cost alot to produce that much power.
2 x XTC D7000w Digital Amps strapped. Costed about USD2000 usd for both amps.
faaaaa, amps strapped......LOL.....i think i need to see a vid of your car panels flexing....windows too.... :p
No flexing. The entire car has been sound deadened TWICE over, so the panels dont flex. You just feel the ground shake a bit, but the car is intact. ;)
Nice drop and rims, you have good style. Any side profile pics though?
Thanks Rudy. I will take more pics during the week, just waiting for my new camera, and for the sun to come out.
I LIKE !!! perfect drop and not bad rims :)
Hi Greg, just wondering how did you go with the double din facia? :)
Thanks Guys. I didnt go ahead with the Double Din. They dont have one for my car (with Climate control). They only have ones for without climate control.
Busy focusing on performance now. Did a 57mm stainless steel free flow system, sounds absolutely wicked! WIll be doing a CAI, Unichip, but no branches...
Hi, greg
Notice that you installed the H&R spring, is a very nice drop. How's the ride comfort compare to stock?
Planning to get either the H&R or eibach. Would appreciate your advice. Thanks.
Hi Mik,
The ride is very sweet. I use the car for everday use, so I wanted something realible, but sporty as well. The ride is as close to stock as you will get. Its still a comfortable luxurious ride. You obviously feel a little bumpier on unever terrain at higher speeds, but all in all, I am really enjoying H&R.
hi greg, im having issues with my stock cu2 with bumps and trenches. i noticed you lowered it. do you have any problems with bumps and stuff at your height? i plan on adding a lip kit and stuff without lowering so it will probably end up around your height. im having serious second thoughts because at alot of parking places they have that little kerb at the end of the parking space to stop u driving further. the stock height euro only JUST clears it. if i lower it or get a lip it - scratch for sure. and theres no way for me to know how close i am from the kerb.
Surprisingly, no, I dont have any issues with uneven surfaces. Sure, if its a sharp incline, then it may just touch, but no issues other than that.
Lol, if you know your Accord/Euro well enough, you shouldnt go into the curb. I struggled a bit when I 1st bought the car, but now, I can park as close as an inch to a curb because I know the dimension quite well.
14KW of amp. That's insane. Love your work!
:-) Thanks mate.
Just an update:
Have done a 57mm Stainless Steel freeflow system, the sound is wild - very sporty but still classy. Fitted a larger tailpiece as well.
In the next week, I will be doing the UNICHIP piggy system on ECU, as well as a performance filter. Will post pics, and dyno results once done. Remember, I have the 2L model.
Here's a pic of Greg's tailpiece...
