Thanks for the comment, If any 1 want me to focus on there car at a track or drag event let me know...
-
Interesting F to R camber settings.
-
Thanks for the shots Leighton. She wet on my seat i think. Had to kick her out and lined up at the back of the pack waiting for the photo shoot to finish. Not a problem, i love a challenge.
Yes, we have camber on the rear, and less on the front. We have changed the rear setup with tie rods, the front has not been modified. The front is needing more camber, please give ideas. The car has actually been raised after the corner weighting. We have a 60/40 balance towards the front. With a weight around 1150kg. We had a great day, the new $40 wing worked a treat stabilizing the rear at high speeds. We did 60.55s on the old semis, the right front was down to rags after the 4th session. So i think if the tyres were fresh, i'm sure we would have broken our pb of 59.82s

Really? Thats sick. Id like to corner balance my car. You noticed a difference right? :)
-
-
You feel the difference when you are on the limit at the track. If you guys are keen, i can have a chat to my mate and see if he can do it for you. It won't be free though.
-
good pics leighton and looks like you had a great day Tim. Hopefully break the Pb next time mate:thumbsup:
-
hey guys we can scale your car $100
-
Sounds Great! I'm keen!
What's involved with it though?
-
It ain't gonna happen for you beez..... not until you stop denying yourself and get some adjustable coilovers.
-
So U need them to do this?
-
lol spend your money on upgrading the engine first before bothering to corner balance it

yeah mate you need adjustable coilovers to do it. but if you want can thrown it on for half just so you can see what it weighs and how it is all sitting.

haha, if you are doing track work car set up will out do power any day of the week.
-
Thanks mate.Cheers!
I guess once we get the weights, the next step is to move stuff around to balance it right cause ya dont wanna be adding weight?
-
yeah thats right mate. what car you got? the front is easy to get it is getting the back right with mine and tims we have had to move everyting to passenger rear corner like batt and any thing you can. i put ten kilo of led there to make it right. carring that bit of weight is far better of then the car being 10kgs lighter.
