yea you will need new shocks, otherwise you will blow your stock shocks very quickly.
king springs, pedder springs and lovell springs come to mind for 2' drops. if u get after market shocks, get something like koni yellows and combine them with eibach springs or nuespeed springs to get a 2" ride height aswell ( u can adjust the height of the shocks by 2 levels, if u are going lower)
How much would that add up to approximatly?
that will look tidy man but be careful coz i cant get my car regod because its 20 mm lower than a stock civic which i think is bullshit
I was thinking of coilcovers pretty expensive from what i have seen though.
yea coilovers are much better tho, stiffer ride, better handling.
but shock+spring combo would do the same job. brand new, you're probably looking at 1k+
go on www.preludeaustralia.com
a few members are selling the spring+shock combo for about 700
Although a lot of people run aftermarket springs on stock shocks, it's not recommended as you'll wear out the shock even quicker. It may seem cheap to lower your car with aftermarket springs now, but when your shocks blow you'll be spending hundreds more, close to the price of some coilovers.
IMO, if you can wait, be patient and go for coilovers.
whats the point of repeating what i just said lol
I guess it's similar, but I gave some further feedback on some things to consider? Plus, we posted around the same time :S
if youre tight on money just get the springs!
Yea, worried about the shocks going haha

I doubt these would even work haha
Chances are your 20 yr old shocks arnt in a very good condition anyhoo. I'd just recommend the springs too.
The kits u mentioned above do work.. just yeh.. u dont know the spring rate and quality of the spring.
you'd still have to run those on aftermarket shocks, im pretty sure
running em on your stock shocks still affects the actual distance the spring travel along the shocks and hence can cause it to blow quicker. or someshit like that
