Spoon. I looked up the Mugen and have concluded I like it in every angle except the back... I hate how it 'joins' up with the rear of the car. It just looks like it's sitting on top. Thats my opinion though.
I do love it in a different colour - Kinda fixes the issue completely. I love this:

I like the spoon. OEM looks too bubbly now that I've stared at it for the past 15 minutes!
OEM for the win rear vision is a bit better.
spoon gives it a "porsche" side profile... i like :)
I don't know where you see a Porsche in that side profile. Spoon Mooncraft roof is pig ugly Much than same as the front guards and front bar, it's heavier than the Mugen, Makes an unpractical car even more unpractical, vision out is also poo!
Yeh the rear vision looks like it'll be really, really bad on the Spoon one.

All in all the OEM one would be the easiest to live with! Mugen if two tone looks nice imo. Spoon... Maybe for a track car but would be hell to live with

How much will different rooves set u back?
accurate prices a bit difficult these days as some are discontinued.
OEM $3000 and up for a second hand one, these are serious hot property right now.
MUGEN gen (Carbon) $7500 and up new one, about $4500 and up for a used one
MUGEN gen (FRP) $4000 and up new unpainted.
SPooN Hardtop $5000 and up new
Seibon Mugen rep (carbon) $4500 and up new.
There are some brands now in the states, i found a place $1800US for Mugen rep in FRP not carbon, includes fitting kit and they were charging $900US for shippage. Not a bad deal now that the US dollar ain't doing so good.
Delivery is not included, in these prices. But factor approx $1000 for delivery and postal insurance.
I find the OEM one looks really hideous =/
i have found plenty on ebay from $1-3000.00 are they not original?

Amuse is the only manufacturer that "makes" a carbon fibre OEM hardtop. I say "makes" because I've only heard of one person (in the states) named Diez that has one and it cost like $6k US.
The moonrock hardtop looks crap as.
Mugen is nice but expensive.(real)

I much prefer the OEM over the others for a couple of reasons:
OEM fit and finish
Better rear vision
Cheaper
Availability in Australia when found second/hand.

The amuse hardtop is different to the OEM hardtop, the window doesn't go all the way to the bottom. It's the best looking hardtop IMO, it's entirely dry carbon and made to order. One of the reason why people don't get it is because it requires the soft top removal to fit it, and you can order it from here.Quote:

bullet proof automotive do a modified spoon mooncraft roof im pretty sure that has rear quarter windows in them. there demo s2k has the modified one on along with the crazy mixed widebody kit and im pretty sure you can buy all the exterior items as well as the oem, mugen and standard spoon mooncraft
