As Milano Red is a flat paint, the recommended retail price has been adjusted to $33,991 for Accord Euro Stnd (M/T) and $40,541 for Accord Euro Luxury (M/T).
do you know if it will come with the illuminated multi-function steering wheel?
also, do you know if the new wheel design for the luxury model is this (also note the new "deep green" colour which i think only JDM gets):

I prefer the five spoke rims on the silver one more.
So not fair...17" for luxury and full sized spare. Oh well, I did get the Accord around a year ago...
The one on the bottom looks awesome!! Very similar to the aftermarket rims I have on my current ride. :thumbsup:

Those pics are nice but are not a stock Euro with 17" - those pics are lowered Euros at least 1".
When will the 2005 models be on the market for sale ?
are you sure? those pics came straight off Honda Japan's website. I may be wrong, but i don't think they would lower their cars for stock-model photography...Quote:

Sorry - I should clarify - they are legit Honda pictures but they are not what your Aus delivered Honda Accord Euro will look like with 17" rims. I don't think Honda has changed the suspension on the 05 model - the wheel arch gap will look more like this (my ride - no suspension mods)...I wish mine had the small gap in those photos -- see what I mean? The pics you are showing are the same drop as a Eibach Prokit. It could be trick photography or it could be a different suspension set upQuote:

Friend of mine spoke to Honda Aust about the EuroR, and the reason why they havent released the EuroR in Aust. is because the reckon there wont be enough sales to justify them doing crash tests etc.. to bring over the car. What a load of BS, if they had released the EuroR here, Id buy it.
Why would they need to do separate crash tests for the EuroR when the Euro is already sold over here?
I still think its bs, but my guess is that the EuroR has a different engine and specs to the accord Euro ie CL7 and CL9.
As usual I always buy too eary, wonder if I get my 16 inch rims traded in for the new 17 inch rims? Not too worried about the space saver tyre issue, don't plan on having too many flats and if I do it only has to last untill you get to a repair shop anyhow!

Yeah the pics of the 05 euro's is definetly lowered. If it was standard the wheel arch gaps would surely be bigger. My car looked like a 4wd when i first put in my aftermarket alloys unlowered as well....
They do that a lot in car advertisments or pictures. Same deal with tint, they put real dark tint on which make it look so nice.. But in reality is illegal...
Can someone find out if they modified the spare wheel well for the '05 model to fit the full sized spare? Or is it just a case of dropping a full size into the existing sized wheel well?

Got confirmation- it is this one. As noted by others this is not an Oz spec car, but I do imagine a Aussie car to be sitting on similar ride height due to suspension changes and lower profile tyres.

I do not know if the the wheel design has changed, haven't seen it yet! Same with the design for the luxury. I will confirm on Thursday. I've had my Euro on order since mid October, the dealer advised me to wait for the 05 model as I was in no hurry. I have no idea on current waiting times. I will post some pics if there are any differences.

I also checked an '05 Euro Luxury out today at the dealership. I can confirm that those 17" rims above are the ones that come on the Aussie model, however it is not lowered at all from the '04 model. The picture above looks a little lowered. The actual car being sold is not that low. You could fit a chicken under that wheel arch! But overall it looks alot more in proportion with the 17" wheels compared to the 16" wheels on the '04.
Here are some shots of the full sized spare in my standard 05 euro. I think the foam spacer is the only difference...haven't seen earlier model to compare with. Other than this, I dont think there are any other changes in this model.
Anyway...cars been in the garage for an hour....need to go for another drive!! :D

Thanks for the pics. If only the Euro came with full size spares from the start. I reckon it would have won wheels car of the year instead of the RX8.

You got it exactly and they are Bridgestone Potenzas. The rims and the tyres look good. Not as nice to look at as my Prodrives but hey - they still look good. I imagine they are not too heavy either - my guess is around 9.5kg. The extras on the Luxury now make it too good a value proposition to refuse over the standard model. I called Honda parts at two different dealerships and they both quoted, $605 per rim.
Wonder how much it would cost, and if it is possible at all to upgrade the steering wheel buttons. yes yes i know its easy to remember the location of the buttons, but it looks very nice.
